Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself Reverend Ben Cooper recorded live here in London, England, where the world gathers for five minutes of faith, hope, love, and strength. Whatever you're looking for, God is calling you. Don't look to the world, but look to Jesus. There is change in your life, there is hope in your life. Whatever your life is reflecting at this moment in time. Come on, let's pray.
You know, we can't fix everything, but I know someone who can. We can't deal with everything, but I know someone who can. We can't cope with everything, but I know someone who can. And he's calling us to what? He's calling us to the Word of God. He's calling us to the cross of Calvary. Jesus Christ loves you and all things are possible to those who believe.
We're going to jump straight into Luke 4 verse 18. Jesus, heal what I cannot fix and bring peace into my heart today. Father, bring peace into everybody's heart. Wherever and whatever corner of the world we're in. Lord, if we're on a commute, help us. If we're on a school run, Lord help us.
Lord, if we're just living our lives, Lord, and capturing the rhythm of the world. Father, I pray that we won't live by the rhythm of the world. We won't live by the monotony. Lord, help us to get off that trampoline, dear God, that trampoline of this day, that day, every day. Father, help us to get off the trampoline, dear God, of boredom. Help us to get off the trampoline of being a commuter robot. Help us to get off this trampoline, dear God, of just this, this, this monotony of life. Father, this world that is trying to change us and trying to draw us and trying to take us away from our destiny. Father, I pray that we will look at the cross and realize who we are. Lord, heal our bodies, our minds, Lord, work through our emotions because Lord, we got to find who we are. Lord, because the world is trying to keep us on the trampoline, dear God, of the commute, the trampoline of life, the trampoline of materialism, the trampoline of social media, the trampoline, dear God, of the rhythm of the world. And Lord, the rhythm of the world isn't giving us peace.
The rhythm of the world, Father God, is making us agitated. The rhythm of the world, Father God, is making us feel that there is something wrong in our lives. And Father, I pray that we will get off of this trampoline. And Lord, that we will be bold and we will live our lives in boldness, that we will be braggadocious. Lord, that we will hand everything over to you. And Lord, the areas of our lives that we cannot fix. Lord, we stop bouncing and we leave this rhythm right now, the rhythm of the world.
And Lord, we say, Jesus, what is your plan for my life? Jesus, what is your plan for me? The Bible says, seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and everything else will be added to thee. Father, we believe that you can fix all things. We know that you can deal with all things. But right now, Lord, there is a rhythm in our heart that we don't like. Lord, we are hearing the pots and pans, dear God, the noise of life. Lord, those kitchen utensils that we have got rattling in our head. Lord, the drawers that are slamming, dear God, the doors, dear God, that are just being slammed shut in our face. Lord, we know that you can make a way where there is no way. Lord, you can fix all things because all things are possible to those who believe. And we are believing for miracles. We are believing in the power of the
word of God. And Lord, wherever we are scattered from London, Toronto, Toronto, Sydney, Cape Town, Dublin, Chicago, Singapore, Lord, at this midnight hour, at the early doors of the day. Father, right in the middle of the day, Lord, wherever we are, driving, walking, washing, hovering, shouting, screaming, crying, whatever we are doing, Lord, order our steps. Because Lord, I'm trying to fix things. And this puzzle of life I can't deal with. Lord, help me to deal with the puzzle of life. Spirit of the Living God. I gotta get off this trampoline, Lord, because it's exhausting. Lord, I can't bounce in the same rhythm as the world. Lord, it is exhausted. Lord, we realize the more we bounce with the world, the more we realize that we can't fix anything. Spirit of the Living God, I pray that you will lead us in paths of righteousness. And Lord, wherever we are at this moment, bring hope. Jesus, heal what I cannot fix, and bring peace into my heart today.
The Spirit of the Lord is over you from the battlefield to the boardroom. God is calling you. We'll catch you on the next prayer.
