You know, through this month of January, there is uh no news, there is no weather, there is no human voice, there is no traffic, it is pure worship. And I want to encourage you to lock into RB Christian Radio. Listen to that, and also the back library of all these podcasts that we've got. There is so much back in that, and also uh hashtag Christian Straight Talk that I started with my good friend Simon Pinchbeck. Listen to all that stuff that is out there. There is so much church services, there is so much on the table, but we're gonna lock into prayer wherever you are right now.
What do we need? Do you know what I want to invite each and every one of us to get around the throne of grace? I believe that the Lion of Judah is calling you. I believe the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords is drawing you. You know, it's not church that we need, it's not pastors, it's not religion that we need, it's not the world, that's for sure. What we need is the kingdom of God, and the kingdom of God is within every one of you. You are not here by chance, you are not here because of coincidence, you are here because of divine appointment.
We're gonna pray. Jesus, calm my mind when anxiety and overthinking rises at this hour. Father, wherever we are, dotted on this world, whatever culture, lifestyle we have, Lord, we just want to get to the cross. Lord, because at the cross there is peace. Lord, we just want to get into the presence of Jesus. And tonight, this morning, this afternoon, however, whenever we are listening to this prayer, Jesus, calm my mind when anxiety and overthinking rises at this hour. Lord, help me sleep. Help me rest. Lord, we are carrying too many burdens. Lord, we are spinning too many plates in life. Father, we don't have the energy to keep up with these plates that we've got spinning. Father, will you calm our mind down? Will you calm our life down? Lord, we need to be Jesus focused, Christ-centered. Lord, and we gotta be walking in the word. And Father, I cannot switch off my brain tonight. Lord, the fear of tomorrow. Lord, I'm worried about the emails I've got to send. Lord, I'm worried about the HR situation at work. Lord, I'm worried about school. I'm worried about education. I'm worried about seeing that friend. I'm worried about the commute. I'm worried, dear God, I am worried. Lord, bring freedom. Lord, switch my mind off, Lord. Help me rest at the beautiful name of Jesus Christ.
And Lord, wherever we are, from the battlefield of the mind, Lord, the wasteland of the mind, Father, from the battle place, dear God, of the mind and the thinking at this hour, I pray, dear God, wherever we are, from London, Toronto, Melbourne, Berlin, Los Angeles, Durban, and Johannesburg, let the Spirit of God move on every human being that is under the sound of my voice. Father, wherever we are, Lord, I want to stop thinking these anxious thoughts. Lord, I want to hear the Lion of Judah. I want to hear the rhythm of God. I want to feel the presence of Jesus. Jesus, keep close with me. Jesus, don't let me go. I believe that Matthew 11, 28 is for each and every one of us. Come to me, all of you that are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. You won't find rest with me. You won't find
rest in this ministry. You won't find rest in religion. You won't find rest in number 10 Downing Street. You won't find rest in the political agenda or work or certain areas of life. You will not find it either in social media. You will find it in Jesus Christ. Jesus loves you. He is the creator of heaven and earth. Jehovah Jairah, Jehovah Nisi, God is
calling you. And as we pedal out of this prayer, Matthew 11, 28 is for all of us. Come to me, all of you that are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
