We're going to pray, and we're going to pray out of John 16, verse 33. Jesus, strengthen me for the day ahead and give me courage to face what awaits me. Father, in the name of Jesus, I invite everyone, my brothers and sisters, Lord, into this prayer family, Lord, this devotional time, Lord. I invite everyone in, sister, brother, come on, let's lock shields of faith wherever you are. Take a moment. This is critical that we just stop a moment and just gather our thoughts. Father, right now, strengthen us for the day that lies ahead. Give me courage to face what awaits me. Oh my God, Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we believe in miracles. And Father, from the battlefield to the boardroom, Spirit of the living God, I pray, Lord, as we get up this morning, as we rise out of the bed. Lord,
we kick the duvet off and we shout, Hallelujah! Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. Father, we're not worried about the neighbors. We're not worried about anyone in our lives. We're not worried about what is happening around the world because we are hungry for Jesus. We're hungry for change. And Lord, we are not going to allow fear to control us. We're not going to be manipulated by the world. We're not going to allow the system of life to control us. Lord, we're not going to live by cultural press. We're not going to live by color press. We're not going to live by any press that the world is pushing. And certainly never going to live by social media press. We're going to live in the spirit of the Lord. We're going to live free. Lord, we we believe that the Bible is without
error. And right now, at this early hour of the morning, Lord, we hold on to John 16, verse 33. In the world you will have trouble. But take heart. I have overcome the world. Jesus is calling. And wherever you are, from London to Sydney, New York, Mumbai, Stockholm, Vancouver, Cape Town, the Spirit of the Lord is in your house right now. As you're driving right now, Jesus is with you. As you are walking, as you are delivering life. Whatever you are doing, as you are bobbing on the wave of the ocean of life, the spirit of the Lord is leading you. Do not listen to the bear and the lion, the bear of anxiety, the lion of fear. Do not allow the growler right before you to tell you you can't, believe that you can. All things are possible to those who believe. And Father, in the name of Jesus, strengthen me this day as I wake up. Lord, strengthen me this day as I'm on the school run, the commute run, Lord, as I'm on the field of life. Jesus, strengthen me for the day that lies ahead and give me courage and boldness to face whatever comes down the track of life. Because I'm blessed and highly
favored. I'm wonderfully and I'm fearfully made. Lord, the Bible, dear God, is the gospel of truth. Father, we thank you from the Old Testament to the new. We believe in Jesus Christ. And today we lock into John 16, verse 33. We believe that that scripture is for us. In the world you will have trouble, but take heart. I have overcome the world. Father, you are so true on your word. In the world we will have trouble. Lord, we got a bit of trouble knocking around the gate, Lord. Oh my good God, in the name of Jesus. We are living and watching trouble. But Lord, you tell us to take heart. So Lord, we take heart. Lord, however we interpret that, Lord, we take heart and we look at the cross and we get into the word of God. And Lord, you tell us that you have overcome the world. Lord, I thank you for Isaiah
40, verse 29, as we back out. The Bible says in Isaiah 40, verse 29, He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Father, I thank you that you give us strength when we're weary and when we're tired. And in the name of Jesus, wherever we are, from the battlefield to the boardroom, to the field of life, Lord, strengthen these bones. Strengthen the skin that we walk in. And Lord, we believe. Jesus, strengthen me for the day ahead and give me courage to face what awaits. The glory of God is over your life. We're out of here. I will catch you at the next prayer. Don't go nowhere.
