Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself Reverend Ben Cooper recorded live here in London, England, where the world gathers for five minutes of faith, hope, love, and strength. If you've got a prayer request, you can email us at info at dailyprayer.uk. Thank you to everybody that is downloading the back library, this library right now that is with me. And if this is your first time listening to this prayer time, as you linked in with us wherever you are around the world, we welcome you. Stay with us, don't go nowhere. You know, listen to the back library of prayers, the podcast, everything that goes with that. And we are going to pray right now.
We're going to pray, Jesus, give me peace tonight and quiet the weight of this day. What has your day been like? What have you been faced with today? What has been going on? You know, as the midnight hour is starting to come down a track of life, you know, we're going to jump straight into prayer. The sun might be dropping in your life. You might be commuting. There might be different time zones that you listen to the sound of my voice, but we're going to lock in and we're going to pray. Doesn't matter what time you listen to these prayers. You know, God is calling you. God is really calling you. Never give up in your vision, never give up in your dream. It's not church we need, it is Jesus. It is Jesus Christ. He is your savior, he is your redeemer, and Jesus loves you. The Holy Spirit is your counselor. God is with you in all circumstances of life. Trust me, there's nothing too big for God. There are miracles, there are power, there is anointing through the word of God, and Jesus Christ is with you. We're going to pray, Jesus, give me peace tonight and quiet the weight of this day. Father, in the name of Jesus, give us peace. Lord, we've just come in the front door. Lord, we've just left the car. We've just left the commute. We've got out the van. Lord, we've just put the kids to bed. Lord, we're pulling our air out. Lord, we've got so much to do. Lord, whatever the time zone is, Lord, we still might be commuting to work. We might be coming back from work. Lord, we might be making our way to the gym. Lord, we might be on the golf course. We might be, dear God, on the field of life. Father, we might be battling the biggest battles of our lives. And Lord, whatever storm we are going through right now, Lord, at this hour, wherever we are, Lord, if it's raining, if the sun is out, if the storms of nature are blowing, Lord,
we just ask for you right now to bring peace to this heart. Because Lord, this heart, dear God, is beating fast. And we need to capture the rhythm of heaven. Lord, we don't want to beat, dear God, at the speed of the world. We want a gentle beat of the rhythm of God. Lord, we want to capture the heart of Jesus. We want to capture the presence of the Holy Spirit. Lord, we want to fill heaven. Lord, we want to walk in freedom. We want to walk in anointing. Lord, we need you in our lives. Jesus, Jesus, we need you. At this hour. Lord, whatever we are facing, whatever these storms are, Lord, from London to Berlin, Oslo, Cape Town, Toronto, Los Angeles, Auckland, Singapore. Father, we need you. Whatever city, whatever tribe, whatever tongue, wherever we are, Jesus, will you relieve us of this stress? Lord God, will you help me get home? Lord, I'm stuck in the traffic jam. Lord, I'm on this bus and the noise around me is so loud. Lord, I'm on this dingy old tube, dear God, beneath the earth's surface. Lord, I want to get off the tube. Lord, I don't want to commute like this anymore. I don't want to bounce with the rhythm of the world. Lord, I want to walk in freedom. Lord, I'm troubled with my life at this moment. Lord, I want breakthrough. Lord, I need significant breakthrough. Lift the weight off of our shoulders. Lift the burden, dear God, of the commute.
Lift the burden, dear God, of just breathing, of living. Spirit of the living God, we pray that wherever we are, that we will feel the love of God from the battlefield to the boardroom. Lord, we pray for the day that we've just had. Lord, the stress of this day. And Lord, we've still got quite a few hours. And Lord, we're tired. Lord, we've just getting indoors. We're just dropping the kids off. Lord, we're still, dear God, recovering from work, from life, from the skirmishes of family. Lord, there are battles going on in and out of work, in families, at school, at life, in ministry, at church. Father, the battles that we face, give us strength, Lord. But Lord, help us remind ourselves that the battle belongs to the Lord. So Lord, I thank you for John 14, 27. Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. I do not give as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. Father, will you lift the weight of the world? Will you lift the weight of this day? Lift it off of our shoulders and wherever we are, Father, from the battlefield to the boardroom. Holy Spirit, lead us in paths of righteousness for your namesake. Bless us from the crown of our head to the sole of my feet.
Lord, I thank you for every listener. My name is Reverend Ben Cooper. Until tomorrow, don't go nowhere. Stay with us. Catch us actually on the next prayer wherever you are. Stay with us. God bless.
