world. All I know is it's 12 a.m. here live in London, England, as we gather around the word of God, as we gather for these quick-fired moments of faith, prayer, and hope. Jesus Christ is with each and every one of us. We've got to swerve the church, it's not the church we need. You know, it's not the world, it is Jesus. Come on, we've got to get to Jesus Christ because he's the savior of the world and everything will be okay. I've got to tell you that now, everything
will be okay. We're going to jump into John 14, verse 18. Good morning, good evening, good afternoon. Let's get straight down to prayer.
Father, in the name of Jesus, I want Jesus to stay close to me tonight, Lord, when the loneliness and the fear presses in. Jesus, stay close to me tonight. Lord, wherever we are around the world, I pray that you'll stay close with us in bed, at work, on the commute, wherever we are around the world, Father, we pray for the love of Jesus Christ to be so strong over our lives. Lord, we believe that the Gospel of John 14 and 18 is for each and every one of us. I will not leave you as orphans. I will come to you. Father, I thank you that you have not left us as orphans, that we have a heavenly Father. We thank you that Jehovah Jirah, Jehovah Nissi, Jehovah Shalom is our Father in heaven. Hallowed be thy
name. And as we come, dear God, to the cross today, as we come to the cross tonight, as we come to the cross this afternoon, Lord, we bring our worries, we bring our fears, we bring our brokenness, we bring the shame, we bring the doubt, we bring the arrogance, we bring the hurts, the pains, the worries, the fears. Lord, I bring the suitcase of the journey of my life to the cross. And I say, Father, will you forgive me, dear God? Will you carry each and every one of us? Lord, when I've fouled you, when I've let you down, Lord, when I've let people down in my life, when I've let certain areas of life go, Lord, I pray, dear God, that you will draw us to the
cross. Lord, if anyone is carrying hurts and pains and worries and fears, Lord, you tell us through the beautiful prayers of David, Psalm 34, verse 18, the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and he saves those who are crushed in spirit. Do you feel crushed in spirit at this prayer time? At this early door, wherever you are right now, I pray that the love of God from the battlefield, from the battlefield at the midnight hour, Father, at the hour of dawn, Father, I pray wherever we are, as the sun sets, as the sun rises over our lives, I pray, Lord, for an outpouring of your spirit over each and every one of us. You declare in your word, God, that you have not left us as orphans, that you will come to us. And Lord, we need you right now. Lord, if there's ever a time in our lives
that we need Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, it is this hour, it is this moment. And we come, dear God, roar to the cross of Calvary. We bring the baggage, we bring the worries, we bring the fears, we bring the doubts, we bring everything to the cross of Calvary. And Jesus, will you stay close with me tonight? Father, will you stay close with each and every one of us? Lord, will you remove the loneliness, the fear, the panic, the uncertainty of time?
And Father, as we look at the cross, Lord God, as we just lay in the dark right now, Lord, as we just drive to work, as we're on the commute run, from the battlefield of our mind at this hour, from the battlefield of the mental health, from the battlefield of the past hurts, Father, as the battlefield of life itself, Father, I just pray that you'll give us stability and you will, Lord God, just put hope in our hearts today. And Father, wherever we are gathering from London, Toronto, Manila, Johannesburg, St. Paolo, Sydney, Lord, at this midnight hour, wherever we are, Lord, pour out your spirit over each and every one of us. Lord, we love you and we bless you. And Father, we thank you that you are close to the brokenhearted in the greatest name in heaven and earth. May the Spirit of Lord be with you tonight. Never give up. Come on. I'll catch you at the next prayer. Don't go nowhere.
