Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself Reverend Van Cooper, recorded live here in London, England, where the world gathers for five minutes of faith, hope, love, and strength. If you've got a prayer request, you can email us at info at dailyprayer.uk.
Wherever you are across the world, whatever your life is looking like, the battle belongs to the Lord. We are jumping straight in and we are praying, Jesus, provide for me today. Jesus, provide for me today and steady my heart when I'm under pressure. Father, in the name of Jesus, Lord, I thank you for every listener around the world. I thank you for every brother, every child, every woman. Lord, every man, everyone that is with us. I thank you for humanity that is with me right now. That we are Bible-believing believers, that the Spirit of the Lord is with each and every one of us. Father, we thank you that it's not about church. Father, we thank you that it's not about religion. Father, we thank you that it's about being believers. And we believe in the gospel. We believe in the Old Testament. We believe in the Word of God. We believe, Father God, in the 66 books from Genesis to Revelation. We thank you that the love of God is in our
lives. But today we come to Jesus Christ and we say, Holy Spirit, lead us to the rock that is higher than I. And right now, Lord, we believe that Matthew 6, verse 33 is for each and every one of us. But seek ye first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you as well. Father, we seek the face of the Father, we seek the heart of our God, we seek Jehovah Jireh, Jehovah Nissi. And right now, Jesus, provide for us today and steady my heart when I'm under pressure. Jesus, lead me to the cross. Lead me to your presence. Holy Spirit, Lord, wherever we are, from the battlefield to the boardroom, to the field of life.
Father, as we as we face battles that we never fought we'd face, as we are going through fears and valleys that we never thought we'd walk through. Father, even though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we will fear no evil. Father, we believe that Jesus Christ is our Lord and our shepherd. Lord, we lack nothing. Lord, we got to tell ourselves we lack nothing. Fear has to bow, doubt has to bow. Lord, we come to you right now. Anxiety, mental health, the anxious thought about money of not having enough, not being able to pay the bills. Lord, we're we're at work. Lord, our fingers are aching, our minds are tired. Father, we are pressed on every side. Lord, we're pressed down, but Lord, we're going to rise on wings as of eagles. We believe in the fire of God. We believe in the anointing. We believe in the love of Jesus Christ.
And right now, from London to Toronto, from Toronto, Cape Town, Sydney, Vancouver, Singapore, all the way to Italy, the Vatican City, pour out your mercy. And Lord, each and every one of us is seeking the kingdom. Father, we're not looking to religion. We're not looking to the system of church. We're not looking to what the world is saying. We're not looking at social media. We're not looking at the platform of the world. Father, we are not going to conform to the pattern of the world, but Lord, we are going to come to Jesus Christ. And I pray for everyone that is looking for hope. Everyone that is looking for provision. Everyone is looking for a way forward. Lord, I believe in miracles. I believe that Jesus Christ is yes and amen. I believe that he is the first and he is the last. And right now, Lord, thank you for the gospel of Matthew 6, verse 33. Lord, we are seeking the kingdom and his righteousness.
Lord, we want to walk right. Lord, we want to move right. We want to live right. Lord, we want to think right. Lord, we want to be, dear God, ambassadors for Jesus Christ. Lord, I pray as we go to work, as we live our lives at home, wherever we are, Lord, we will let our light shine. May God bless you from the battlefield to the boardroom. From the boardroom to the school run, from the school run to the work, to the workplace, whatever you are doing, the glory of God, from the tube to the train, from the train to the aircraft, to the traffic jam to shopping, whatever you are doing,
God is with you. You are not alone. God loves you, and the Spirit of the Lord is over your life. Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness. Until the next prayer, don't go nowhere.
