Turning To Prayer For Anxiety

SPEAKER_00

Wherever you are, we're gonna get straight into prayer. How are you feeling? Where are you right now? What is your life reflecting? I gotta tell you right now, Jesus Christ is in your life, and we're gonna pray, Jesus, calm my mind and lift the weight of anxiety tonight. Father, we come to you, Lord, at the early door. We come to you right now, Lord, as the wave of fear is crashing down in our mind. And wherever we are gathering, from London to Auckland, Chicago, Dubai, Seoul, Cape Town, Lord, we're praying for this overthinking, Lord, when we spiral out of control, Lord, when we lay in bed and sit on the sofa, we drive the vehicle, whatever we are doing, Lord, the mind just seems to be racing. Lord, I pray that our thoughts won't spiral out of control, but we will come to the cross of Calvary and we will rest wherever we are around the world. Lord, we believe that Jesus Christ is calling us right now

Scriptures Of Rest And Hope

SPEAKER_00

at this hour. Lord, we thank you for Matthew 11, 28. The Bible says, Come to me, all of you that are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Father, we need rest tonight. We need to hear the lion of Judah because, dear God, the bear, dear God, of doubt, the bear, dear God, that is growling at us is so loud. Father, we don't want that lion of despair. Lord, we want the lion of Judah. We want the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. And at this 3 a.m. hour, wherever we are scattered around the world, Father, as this anxiety spikes, as the mind races, Lord, as we're so tired we can't sleep. Lord, these thoughts of insecurities, Lord, these areas of our days. Father, we're asking you, Lord, right now, that the Holy Spirit will lead us and you will, dear God, draw us into a place where we can find rest, stillness, Holy Spirit across hospital walls, across night shifts, across lonely places, dear God, right away through hospices, hospitals, prisons, wherever we are right now, at home, commuting around the world. Jesus, bring peace to every one of us. Soften our thoughts, heal our hearts today. Lord, wherever we are at this moment, Lord, whatever our life is reflecting, we believe in miracles. And Lord, we pray, Lord God, for the outside storms that we are in right now. Lord, the insecurities that we feel in our lives. I'm asking you, dear God, in the name of Jesus, lift this heavy thought right now. Lord, we come to you. Lord, we believe in the Lion of Judah, the great I Am, Jehovah Jirah.

Closing Encouragement And Sign-Off

Come, Holy Spirit. You tell us in the beautiful book of Matthew 11, 28, come to me, all of you that are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Lord, we need rest for our lives. Father, we need this place to find where we can rest our head, our heart, our mind, and our body and our soul. Jesus, we need you like never before. Lord, don't leave us tonight. Keep by us, Lord. Stay close with us. Lord, we thank you for Psalm 94, verse 19. When anxiety was great within me, your love brought me joy. Let me tell you, wherever you are right now, Jesus Christ is in your life. Come on, never give up. The Spirit of the Lord is with you. My name's Reverend Ben Cooper. I will catch you on the next prayer. Don't go away.
