Wherever you are across the world, whatever your time zone is, however you are feeling, whatever your name is, whatever your tribe, your color, your language that you speak, I pray that God will bring peace and stability to your life and God will strengthen you today. What are we
praying for? We're praying for something very simple and very easy, and it comes out of the book of Philippians 4, verse 13. Jesus, give me strength for what I must face today.
Holy Spirit, we come to you, scattered across the world. And Lord, at this early hour, Father, as we are getting ready for work, we're getting ready for life. Lord, the battlefields, the skirmishes of life, dear God, the motorway, dear God, just the traction of life. Father, we can't keep this pace up. Lord, it feels like we're on a treadmill. Lord, it feels like that this treadmill in the gym of life is just at full stretch. And Lord, we don't have the energy. Lord, we got battle fatigue. We're tired, we're weary of life. Lord, it's not just been a battle for a week. It hasn't been a battle for two weeks, a month. Lord, six months. Lord, we feel that we've been in battles all of our lives. And Lord, we are praying, Jesus, give me strength for what I
face today. Lord, we thank you for the beautiful book of Philippians 4, verse 13. And the Bible says, I can do all things through Him who gives me strength. Lord, we need you. We need strength today. Lord, our fear might be rising, the doubt might be rising, but Lord, we need morning courage. Lord, we need emotional uh reassurance. Lord, we need energy to keep going forward. Strengthen us with the difficult conversations that we have through the course of this day, from the battlefield to the boardroom to the field of
life. I pray, whatever the hour is, whatever the situation is in our lives, Father, as we are preparing to rise to get out of the bed. Lord, as we kick the duvet off, Lord, as we gotta put our socks on, shoes on, trousers on, skirts on, put everything on, the makeup on, do our hair, whatever we gotta do to get out the door, Father, I pray that you will give us strength and energy. But Jesus, help me face today. Lord, at this early door, Lord, as the sun is starting to rise, Lord, as the hour is starting to creep
on. Father, I pray for the love of God and the spirit of God, Lord, that we will capture the heartbeat of heaven. We will hear the whisper of the word of God. Lord, we don't want to hear the pots and pans clanging in our lives. Lord, we don't want to hear the rattle, dear God, Lord, that is going on in our lives right now. Lord, we went to bed and we haven't slept. Lord, we're tired and we are exhausted. Lord, right now I pray as the world starts to rise, as the world starts to get up. Lord, as we feel, dear God, the day starting to unfold already in our head. Lord, we are praying that you'll give us physical strength, spiritual strength, and we will feel the love of Jesus Christ. So Lord, from the battlefield to the boardroom, from the boardroom to the field of life, to the school run, to the coffee
run. Father, we pray for the homemakers. We pray for those that are at work, those that are retired, those that are on their way to school, wherever we are, Spirit of the Living God, we pray for those that are grieving and those that are trying to navigate their way through life. Those, dear God, that have lost their compass, lost the satnav of their destination. Spirit of the living
God, I pray that you will be our satnav, that Jesus Christ will be the place that we go to, that Jesus Christ is our destination. Lord, that we won't look to the address of the world, but we will look to the address of heaven. Come, Holy Spirit, wherever we are across this world, may the Spirit of the Lord carry you. And let's just remind ourselves what the Bible says in Philippians 4, verse 13. I can do all things through Him that gives me strength.
The book of Isaiah 40, verse 31, as we backpedal out of this prayer, this is what the Old Testament says to you today. But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. May the Spirit of the Lord carry you from the battlefield to the boardroom. God is with you. Don't go far. Stay with us.
