Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself Reverend Ben Cooper, recorded live here in London, England, where the world gathers for five minutes of faith, hope, love, and strength. If you've got a prayer request, you can email us to the studio, which is infodailyprayer.uk. Wherever you
are around the world, we pray for the love of God and the spirit of the living God to carry you. Thank you to everybody that is downloading everything that we do here on daily prayer with Reverend Ben Cooper. We thank you so much for the back library. Everyone that's in the back library at this moment in time, please continue to share all that stuff out
wherever you are. We are going to pray. And what we're praying for, we are praying for something really powerful, something that's really needed in my life, and that is Jesus. Stay close to me tonight when I feel alone and when I feel overwhelmed. Father, I thank you to everybody that's listening on RB Christian Radio. Everybody that's listening, dear God, on whatever device, however they're capturing my voice, I pray that the love of God and the Spirit of God and the anointing of God will carry each
and every one of us. But Lord, at this hour, Lord, we pray that John 14, 18 will come alive in our spirit. Lord, you tell us that you will never leave us nor forsake us. That you won't leave us as orphans, that you will come to us. And Lord, at this dark hour, Lord, after this hard day, after the monotony of life, we just come to you right now, Lord, in a simple way, in an easy way. And we have cry is, Jesus, help me. Jesus, stay close to me. Lord, I thank you that I haven't got to get into church. I haven't got to get into the rhythm of ministry. Lord, I haven't got to get to a church service to find you, because you've already found us. And I thank you that you have found us. Lord, that you have always had us. And Lord, that you will never leave us nor
forsake us. So Lord, I believe that we are grafted into the vine, as the Bible tells us. But right now, Lord, at this hour, as the sun has set, dear God, on our day, as the sun might be rising in a few hours, Lord, I pray, dear God, that as we pray through this pain barrier, this lonely barrier, Lord, we pray through the fears, dear God. We pray through every area of life. And we say, Thank you, Jesus. Lord, I pray right now that you will help everybody that's going through emotional pain. Lord, bring comfort in darkness. Lord, loneliness at night. Lord, as we just lay around watching the TV, scrolling through social media, Lord, just aimlessly, just looking into the heavens above and just wondering what is this life all about. Lord, we are asking you from London to Auckland, Chicago, Cape Town, Jerusalem, Lord, that you will heal broken hearts. Lord, that you will fix lives that feel
broken. But Lord, we believe, as the beautiful book of John 14, 18 clearly tells us, I will not leave you as orphans. I will come to you. Holy Spirit, we need you in our lives. Jesus, don't leave me alone tonight. Wherever we are, whatever we face, from the battlefields of life, Lord, to the to the war zones of life, whatever we've come from today, wherever we have been today, whatever our life is reflecting at this hour, Lord, we got to lean into Jesus. Will you help us, Lord, to lean into you? Lord, we want to leave all this responsibility, dear God, behind. Lord, we want to leave all this emotional pain behind. Lord, we want to leave all this
hard press of being a human being behind. Lord, we want to leave the lonely feelings behind. Lord, we want to leave these thoughts that just get us wandering, dear God, and just in the wasteland of the mind. Father, help us within the wasteland of the mind. Spirit of the living God, will you just fill us afresh today? Wherever we are, whatever the time zone is over our lives. We believe in miracles. And Lord, I ask you that you will heal the brokenhearted and set those free that feel crushed in spirit. For those that have had a heavy day, a heavy life, a heavy hour, Lord, will you bring peace, dear God, to the table of life right now? And wherever we are gathering, we pray from the battlefield to the skirmishes to the war trenches. Father, just to the peaks of life, wherever we are, Lord, we want Jesus Christ to carry us. May the Spirit of the Lord be over you at this
hour. And the prayer that we are praying that we will continue to pray is very simply Jesus, stay close to me tonight when I feel alone and overwhelmed. I will catch you on the next prayer. Don't go nowhere.
