on, we're gonna lock in. And what we're gonna pray for, we're gonna pray, we're gonna pray for strength, and we're gonna pray, Jesus, show me the way forward today when I cannot see it. Father, in the name of Jesus, Lord, it feels like I'm looking at the walls of Jericho. It feels like, Lord, I'm looking at these walls, these walls that I cannot climb, I cannot dig under, I cannot get around. Lord, the wall of fear, the wall of doubt, the wall of uncertainty. Lord, this wall is too big. Lord, I need your love, I need your mercy, I need this saving grace. Lord, I want to be like the Israelites that was obedient to your word. And Lord, when we're obedient to your word, we can walk around any situation. Lord, we can go through anything. Lord, even though we go through the waters of life, even when we go through the fires of life, we will not be drowning, Lord, and we will not, dear God, be singed by the flame of life. So, Spirit of the living God, I pray that wherever we are, that the fire of God and the love of God, Jesus, show me the way forward.
Holy Spirit, Lord, at this early hour, Lord, as we're kicking the duvet off, as we're rising up, Lord, as we're putting our socks, our shoes on, trousers, skirts, makeup, doing our hair. Lord, whatever we are doing, throwing the kids in the car, on the school run, whatever we may be doing. Oh my God, please show us the way forward. Holy Spirit, I pray right now, Jesus, show me the way forward when I cannot see it. Lord, the sun is about to rise very, very soon over the UK. Lord, I pray that the love of God will carry each and every one of us. And wherever you are, from London to New York, Auckland, Cape Town, Jerusalem, I pray that the love of the Spirit of the Living God at this early door, the sun is rising, the sun is setting, whatever and however, wherever you are right now, never ever give up. Today, Jesus. Jesus, show me the way to go forward. Because Lord, this Jericho that I'm looking at, Lord, I can't climb it. Lord, I can't get through it. Lord, I've got to be obedient. And Lord, when I'm obedient and I'll just keep walking in faith, I'll just keep walking and listening to your word. Lord, I'm not gonna react to the text. I'm not gonna react to the line manager. I'm not gonna react to the husband. I'm not gonna react to the children or my wife. I'm not gonna react to my husband over there, Lord. I'm not gonna react to the children over here, Jesus. I'm not gonna react to the emails. I'm not gonna react to anyone in my life. Lord, I'm not gonna react even to myself. Lord, I'm not gonna allow myself to explode like a volcano. Lord, I'm gonna seek you today because Lord, show me the way
forward. Lord, I gotta get to the cross. I gotta get to the presence of Jesus. And Lord, I'm asking you, dear God, from the battlefields of life. Father, from the battlefield to the boardroom, from the boardroom to the school run, from the school run to the commute, from the commute, the train, the bus, the car, the aircraft, the bike, dear God, wherever we are, Lord, at our desk, at home, cutting the grass. Dear God, if we're a homemaker, Lord, I pray that you will bless the homemakers, that the Spirit of the Living God will bless those all at home, everyone at work and school. Lord, whatever rhythm of life we are moving in, whatever way, dear God, we are walking, I pray that you will bring peace. But today, Lord, we need clarity.
You tell me, dear God, in the Gospel of John 14, 6, Jesus answered, I am the way, the truth, and the life. Lord, there's only one way I've got to go, and that is Jesus. Will you bring peace to us today, wherever we are across this world? Jesus is saying, I am the way, the truth, and the life. Holy Spirit, show me the way forward. May God bless you.
