Wherever you are, whatever the time zone is, I've got to remind you something that you are born again. You're not a churchgoer, you are a Bible-believing believer. Thank God it's not about getting into the church, getting into the religious box. Thank God it's about walking in the kingdom of God. It's about believing.
It's just that simple. Jesus said to the disciples on the shoreline of Galilee, just believe. Come on, we're gonna pray. What we're praying for, Rev, and we're gonna pray this. Jesus, heal the places in me that hurt beyond words. That's so relevant, isn't it? Have you got past hurts? Are you just trying to smile through work today? As you're out in the rhythm of life, you know, Jesus, heal the places within me that hurt beyond words. Father, that is so
true. Father, wherever we are gathered, I pray for all those that are experiencing exhaustion, heartbreak, inner pain. Lord, that have got emotional storms that are just firing away, Lord. Lord God, come in your full glory. Strengthen us today wherever we are around the world. We need your love and your saving grace. Lord, we believe that Psalm 147 verse 3 is for every one of us. He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Lord, every storm that we've gone through, help us to recover. Every area of trauma, help us recover. Every area of struggles and fights that we've been through, help us recover. Lord, you tell us that you shall restore all the years that the locust has stolen. Lord, you've got to restore because Lord, we feel overwhelmed by the past. Lord, when we look back at the past, Lord, we feel scared. We feel worried because we don't want to live how we used to live. We don't want to walk in the same walk we used
to walk. So Father, I pray that we will move on from this hour, this moment. Jesus, heal the places in me that hurt beyond human words. Lord, wherever I go across this world, Lord, wherever we commute, wherever we move to, whatever area of life we are moving in, Lord, we have got inner hurts that come with us. Lord, we have got history that comes with us. We got trauma that comes with us. And Lord, you tell us through the beautiful book of Psalms 147, He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Lord, I don't want to carry my yesterday hurts anymore. I don't want to carry, dear God, the broken heart from yesterday. I don't want to carry the fear from yesteryears. I don't want to carry the doubt, the fear, the uncertainty. Lord, I don't want to carry the unforgiveness. Lord, I want to lay it at the cross. Lord, I want to walk, dear God, like I've never walked before. Lord, we want to hit a new rhythm. Lord, we want to leave every hurt, every pain, all the suffering, all the abuse, dear God, the mental trauma, dear God, the skirmishes that we've been through, the battles of life.
Father, we are praying through the pain right now. But Lord, cut the umbilical cold to historical events that are still hurting and bringing us down in our emotions. Lord, cut that umbilical cold from yesterday. Cut that umbilical cold from six months. Cut that umbilical cold from a year, cut that cold, dear God, that's going back generations. Lord, we want to be free. And Lord, we need you, dear God, to do surgery. And Lord, we need, dear God, our hearts to be opened up and Lord, empty the heart of pain, empty our thoughts, dear God, of worry and doubt. Lord, bring the love of God and restore, restore the heart today, restore each and every one of us. Lord, I pray that today, Jesus, heal the places in me that hurt beyond human words. Lord, I can't explain it sometimes, Jesus. The pain and the tightening of the chest, the fear, the doubt, the panic attacks, the moments, the burdens, the worries. Lord, come, Jesus, lift this load, carry these burdens.
But Lord, you do tell us, come to me, all of you that are weary and burdened, and you will give us rest. So, Father, we thank you that we will find spiritual rest, we will find hope in Jesus Christ.
