Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, recorded live here in London, England, where the world gathers for five minutes of faith, hope, love, and strength. If you've got that prayer request, you can email us to the studio which is info at dailyprayer.uk. That is info at dailyprayer.uk wherever you are around the world.
Try not to absorb what is happening on the news channels and social media and certain areas of the world about war. Brother and sister, let's hold on to Jesus. Let's not deviate from scripture. Let's not deviate from what the world is trying to do. Do not conform to the pattern of the world. We've got to lean into Jesus Christ. Yes, we are living in very powerful days. There is nation rising against nation, there is kingdom rising against kingdom, and it is really important that we focus on Jesus Christ. Keep your eyes on Jesus. The book of Hebrews, you know, 12 says something so beautiful right at the very beginning of 1, 2, and 3. It says, keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and the perfecter of your faith. Keep your eyes on Jesus.
Father, right now we are praying for healing. Jesus, heal the part of me I cannot reach. Lord, that is my heart inside. Lord, that is the inner me. Lord, the inner pain. The prayer today, Lord, wherever we are across the world is heal the inside of me. Lord, that part of my innermost being I cannot get to. Lord, whether that, dear God, is to do with uh loss, whether that to do, dear God, is with being fearful, whether that is to do with pain in the body, whatever it is, Lord, in our spiritual walk, whatever is within, Lord, that is bringing this inner pain. Lord, emotional exhaustion, the mental health crisis that is around the world. Father, we believe today that you are healing our heart. And as we come to the cross of Calvary, we believe in the power of God. And Lord, I thank you for the prayers of David, Psalm 147, verse 3. The Bible says he heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Lord, this world needs healing. Lord, this world needs stability. Lord, we understand what the word says. Lord, that there will be wars and rumors of wars. There will be famines and pestilence. We understand what the Bible says. We are watching kingdoms rise against kingdoms.
But right now, Lord, whatever the hour is, Lord, from the battlefield to the boardroom, from the boardroom to the school run, to the field of life, Father, we believe in the power of God. And Lord, we are praying for healing. Jesus healed a part of me that I cannot reach. Lord, whatever the time zone is, whatever the color of the skin, whatever language we speak, Lord, bring us to the cross of Calvary. Lord, we are watching the world come to war. We are watching the world, dear God, come to a time, dear God, of skirmishes, of bullets, of rockets, of aircraft. Lord, in the name of Jesus, Lord, there is war in front of our eyes. And Lord, there is war outside of our eyesight in the heavenly realms. And we pray today at this hour. Lord, we are asking from London, Toronto, Toronto, Seoul, Sydney, Kuala Lumpur, Saint Paolo, Lord, we're praying, dear God, that the Spirit of the Lord will fall over Iran right now, that there will be revival in Iran, that the power of God will be over all the globe, every nation, every tribe, every tongue. But Lord, there are burdens within me that I cannot carry anymore. Lord, there is fear within me that I cannot get to. Lord, I come to the cross, I pray, I listen. Lord, I get in the word, but Lord, there is still a part of me that is fearful. There is still a part of my life that I'm scared. There are still parts of me, Lord. Jesus healed a part of me that I cannot reach. Lord, you've got to go deep today. Lord, you've got to open my heart right up. You are Yahweh. You are Jehovah Jireh, Jehovah Nissi. Lord, let the Lion of Judah roar of courage over the broken lands, over the broken hills, the broken cities, the broken lives, the broken bodies.
Spirit of the Lord, take this fatigue that keeps lingering. Take this fear that keeps lingering. Lord, we feel bruised in our soul. Our spirit feels bruised. Lord, we feel tired. It feels like, dear God, we've been in the ring with a champion boxer, Lord, and we are on the ropes of life. Spirit of the living God, I pray that you will supercharge us with the power of God. Come, Holy Spirit. The Bible says, Come to me, all of you that are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Let's get to Jesus. As we pedal out of this prayer, we got to get Matthew 11, 28 in our spirit. The Bible says, Come to me. Holy Spirit, help me to get to you. Help me to get to you, Lord, because I'm weary and burdened, and I need rest. Do you need rest? The Spirit of the Lord is with you. Wherever you are right now, let's get to the cross of Calvary.
Let's never give up. My name's Reverend Ben Cooper. I will catch you on the next prayer. Don't go too far.
