Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself Reverend Ben Cooper, recorded live here in London, England, as the world gathers for five minutes of hope, love, and strength. Wherever you are, oh Lord, what a long day that has been. Wherever you are right now, how are you feeling? We're weary, we're
tired. May the Spirit of God carry you and may the love of Jesus protect you in your midnight hours. We are approaching the midnight hour very, very soon. We've got a couple of hours before we do, but you know what? It's been a long day, it's been a long week. You might say, Well, Rev, it's been a long life. You don't know what I've been through. I've been through war zones, I've been through this, and I've been through that. I've been flooded, I've been ripped apart, I've been torn asunder and everything I've been through, every scenario under
the sun. But we are gonna pray right now for peace. Holy Spirit, bring peace. Jesus, cover this night with your protection and peace. For everyone, dear God, that is on the commute still, protect them. For everyone, dear God, that is throwing the kids in the car and coming back from school, protect them. For everyone, dear God, that is cooking dinner, Lord, listening to the sound of my voice, protect them. For everyone, dear God, that is relaxing, protect forever, forever and for wherever everyone is. Lord, bring that forever into our lives. Lord, we want to feel the forever protection of the Holy
Spirit. Lord, we thank you. Lord, we love the Psalms. We thank you for the prayers of David. And right now, Lord, we thank you for Psalms 121. The Lord will keep you from all harm. He will watch over your life, both now and forevermore. Lord, I love the forevermore, both now and forevermore. Spirit of the living God, let there be an outpouring. Come, Jesus, it's his hour. Lord, we're tired, we're weary. Lord, I'm getting tongue-tied. Lord, my voice is sore today. Lord, our hands are weary. Lord, our feet are tired.
Lord, I can't wait to kick these shoes off when I get indoors in the name of Jesus Christ. I can't wait to throw myself on the bed. Lord, we're absolutely exhausted. When we get in, Lord, we're going to throw ourselves on the sofa. Holy Spirit, I pray, dear God, for family life. I pray, dear God, for business life. I pray for all shapes and all rhythms of life. That the Spirit of the living God will carry us wherever you are. May the power and the love of God just carry you right now. Jesus, our prayer is keep us from all harm. Strengthen us right now. Let the love, let the glory, let the power of Jesus Christ just resonate over your life wherever you are, from the battlefield to the boardroom.
