I've got to tell you something that you already know. Jesus loves you. Never ever give up. Jesus Christ loves you. John 3 16 is over your life. He loves you. You can't escape that fact. You've tried everything, I've tried everything under the sun, and Jesus is saying, Ben, come on, come on, surrender. I believe many of us, we're in prayer right now, and I'll be as quick as I can. We're in prayer at this moment in time.
We're coming out of the book of Romans 5, 17, and I believe that there are many of us that have lost our identity in ministry, in church, in religion, in family, in culture, in seasons of our lives, in marriage, out of marriage, at home, away from home, in life, school, work. I believe our identity has been crushed by situations, and we have lost ourselves. And I believe Jesus is calling you right now. He's calling you out of the woods, he's calling you out of the mud and the mire. He's calling you out of the footpath of life, he's calling you off the motorway of monotony. He's calling you out right now and saying, Ben, you're anchored in the scripture. Sister and brother, you are anchored in the word of God. Father, as we pray, Jesus, anchor our identity in your victory. Father, we thank
you that victory was at the cross of Calvary. We thank you that the Old Testament was fulfilled and the new was birthed at the cross of Calvary. We thank you that church wasn't around. It was just the power of God. It was the Holy Spirit. Lord, we thank you that we don't need church. We don't need the denominator the denominational pressure. We just need Jesus. And as we come to you right now, Jesus, anchor our identity in your victory. Lord, wherever we are across this beautiful world, Lord, from London to France, Ghana, Mexico, Norway, Pakistan, right now, Lord, help us to be confident in you. Lord, the confidence that has been pushed out of us because other people, Lord, I pray that you will bring boldness and strength back to each and every one of us. Lord, you tell us that you're never leave us nor forsake us. You are telling us right now that you are our anchor, that the cross is the place. Father, I pray that we will get to the cross, that the Holy Spirit, that the line of Judah, I thank you that you've been with us through every circumstance, every situation of life. Lord, you've never left us nor forsaken of us. You've never abandoned us. We've never been alone. Lord, it is our mind that has been playing games. Lord, it is
that battlefield of the mind. And I pray for those that feel fragile, those that feel lost, those that feel scared about themselves, about who they think they are, who they are or not. I pray right now that we won't conform to the pattern of the world, to the family, to the regime, to the culture, to the system. We won't conform to number 10 Downing Street. We won't conform to the political agenda. We won't conform to the rhythm of the world. But Lord, we'll have our minds transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit. And Lord, I pray, dear God, that we will not allow ourselves to be dictated to by the world system. But Lord, we will find freedom in Jesus Christ. So Lord, that identity, Lord, that we lost through culture, through life, through pressure, through being, through moving, through whatever it was, from the battlefields to the boardroom. Father, we believe, Lord, there is a fresh awakening in our spirit, and we are finding out who we are because there is victory in the name of Jesus Christ.
Christ has you on the potter's will. He is shaping you, he is molding you. You are in the master's hands. There is grace over your life, there is power over your life. Don't ever, ever give up. Just lean into the word of God. Open up your Bible, just read the word of God. Get in Psalms, get in the Gospel of John. Just trust the living word of God. Just read. Don't try and understand it, just read it. Just let the word soak into your innermost being. And I'll tell you now, God will speak to you through that word, through revelational knowledge. Father, as we pedal out of this prayer, I pray that you will speak to each and every one of us through the power of revelational knowledge. I thank you, dear God, that we are not educated, we're not worried, dear God, about uh all that stuff that goes along with studying. Lord, all we want is the word of God, all we want is the presence. And right now, Lord Jesus, be my anchor. Lord, be our anchor at this moment in time. Anchorus in the Holy Spirit, anchor us in the word of God.
And God is telling us through the book of Deuteronomy 31, verse 6 be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God goes with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. I'll catch you soon. Don't go too far.
