Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself Reverend Ben Cooper, recorded live here in London, England, where the world gathers for five minutes of faith, hope, love, and strength. Wherever you are dotted, whatever the hour is, whatever your battle cry is, whatever you feel at this moment in time, we are not going to allow the mind to dictate to us. We're not going to allow the news channels, we're not going to allow social media, we're not going to allow our history to guide our steps. I've got to tell you right now, Jesus is guarding your mind. He's guarding your steps. God is with you right now.
Have you got mental battle fatigue? Have you got brain fog? Are you feeling just really, really weary and tired? Have you got evening anxiety, emotional weariness? Are you laying on the bed right now, just throwing yourself on the sofa, just got in from life, and you just feel so frustrated and you feel a little bit stirred in your spirit, and you feel a little bit gritty. It's all right to feel a little bit gritty. We all do that. The spirit of the Lord is with us. Come on, we're gonna
pray. What we're praying for, Rev, we're praying out of Psalms 121, verse 7. Jesus, guard my mind as evening closes in. Come on, Lord, Spirit of the Living God, Lord, we call you down into our arena. God, we call you down, Lord, right now. We know you're omnipresent, we know you're omnipotent, we know you're in all and about all, but Lord, we call you down right now. Holy Spirit, come down. Holy Spirit, reveal yourself to us right now. Jesus, calm my mind as evening starts to close in. Lord, from London all the way to Ireland, all the way from Ireland, Brazil, from Brazil to Kenya, from Kenya to Denmark, from Denmark to India.
Lord, deal with this fog. Deal with this fog that I have, Lord, this unseen area of my life. Lord, it is foggy on the motorway of life, Father, and we are driving this car at high speed, Lord, and there is fog in front of us, Lord, and we are trying to find our way forward. Lord, we got brain fog, we got mental fatigue, Lord, we got emotional weariness. And right now, Lord, we need you to lift the fog clear, dear God, clear the vision, Lord, so we can see the road ahead. Father, we got to walk by faith. Lord, we can't live by sight. Lord, we're tired of living by sight, living by what we see through perception, through this world. Lord, we're not gonna live by number 10 down in street. We're not gonna live according to the rhythm of the world. We're not gonna live according to the motorway of life. Lord, we're gonna live according to the scripture. But Lord, I pray that you will recalibrate our minds. I pray that you will bring us closer to the cross. Holy Spirit,
I thank you that you never leave us nor forsake us. And wherever we are, from the battlefields of life, dear God, to the war zones of life, to the tremors of life, to the fears of life. Lord, you're walking with us. Father, we've got a bit of swagger today. Lord, we're walking a little bit different today. Lord, we got courage in the bones. Father, we're feeling there's a different rhythm to our step. Lord, there's a smile in our heart right now because our God is the God above all gods. Our King is the King above all kings. And Lord, we believe right now, as the psalmist, as the prayers of David write so beautifully and so powerfully in this prayer time. Lord, I pray that this Psalm 121, verse 7 will speak to everyone's heart right now.
The Lord will keep you from all harm. I thank you, Jesus. And also He says He will watch over your life. Father, I thank you that you are watching over our lives because Lord, sometimes, Lord, just sometimes, Jesus, it feels like this. Jesus, where are you? Holy Spirit, where are you? I'm in the battlefield. I'm in the war zone. Lord, my mind, dear God, I got fog. I can't concentrate. I can't read the email correctly. I can't read the text. Lord, I I can't see straight. Lord, the this this overwhelming feeling of panic, dear God, where are you? God, where are you right now? Jesus, where are you? Holy Spirit, where are you? But you tell us through the beautiful book of Psalms 121. You tell us so loud and clear. The Lord will keep us from all harm. He will watch over your life. Thank you, Jesus. Lord, I'm sorry that sometimes I doubt. Lord, I'm sorry that I panic. Lord, I'm sorry, Lord, that I let people down in my life because of fear, worry, and doubt and uncertainty.
So Lord, clear the mental fog, clear the road in front of us. Lord, dear God, I pray wherever we are, from the battlefield to the boardroom, Lord, if we're kicking the duvet off in the morning and we're bouncing out, putting our socks on, putting our makeup on, getting dressed, ready for the day, Lord, I pray that we will put on the full armor of God, that we will be dressed for whatever comes our way. But right now, Lord, as we have gotten doors, slam the front door on the world, and we say, Jesus, guard my mind as evening closes in. Holy Spirit, bring peace to every home, every life, every heart right now, and let the joy of the Lord be your strength. Don't go too far. I'll see you soon.
