Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, recorded live here in London, England, where the world gathers for five minutes of faith, hope, love, and strength. If you've got a prayer request, you can email us to the studio, which is info at dailyprayer.uk. Thank you for your support. Honestly, thank you so much from the very bottom of
our heart. You know, I want to say something before we knuckle down into prayer at this hour. You know, never give up in your dreams. Never give up in your vision. Never give up. You know, never ever give up. There is a way forward. We've
tried church, it's failed us miserably. We've tried religion, that's got us nowhere. Actually, church and religion can bring confusion. I tell you what we need, and you know what I'm gonna say. It's Jesus. It's just Jesus. It's the King that we need. It's Jesus. So wherever you are, never give up in your vision, never give up in your dream. And wherever you are, I want to just lay this out across the table of life.
Get yourself a little bit of bread, get yourself a little bit of grape juice, and break bread and take it a cup at home. You know, just break bread with yourself, with your family. Maybe you you don't do it at church, you know, but that's a powerful thing to do, and we will start doing that a little bit more. But I just want to let you know that do that at home wherever you are. Get a bit of uh bread, a bit of grape juice, do it now. Come on, I'll tell you what, let's do it
now. Father, in the name of Jesus, Lord, I pray that as we break bread together at this hour, Lord, at the 10 a.m. hour, live here in London, England, Father, we're praying for an anointing. Lord, we're praying for the fire, we're praying for the power of God, and Lord, we lean into Jesus right now, and Lord, we come to the Passover table. But Lord, before we come to the Passover table, Lord, I just want to lay this out. Jesus, cover our night with your peace and your presence. Father, wherever we are, from London, Switzerland, Zimbabwe, Canada, Peru, South Korea, Portugal, Lord, I pray right now that we will realize that we are safe in Jesus, that we are grafted into the
vine. And right now, Lord, you tell us through the beautiful book of John 10:10, I have come that you may have life and have it to the full. There is a life waiting for you. There are promises waiting for us. Lord, help me, dear God, to open up, dear God. Help me to open up to you. Lord, help me to walk in righteousness. Help me, dear God, to trust in you. Help me to open up to you, Lord. Help me just to look up to the heavens and say, Jesus. I realize it's not church and religion. I realize, dear God, it's not all that Razamatazz that goes on. Lord, it is so simple.
You're telling me, drop your nets, come and follow me. On the shoreline of Galilee, Jesus said to the disciples, drop those nets. Those nets represented everything they had. And Jesus is simply saying, hand everything over to me. Just come and follow me.
I'm telling you now, we're gonna break bread in a moment. We're gonna take at a cup in a moment. Just grab a bit of bread, you know, a little bit of bread. It represents the body of Christ. Grab a bit of grape juice, whatever you got, a bit of wine, put it in a tiny little cup that represents the blood of Jesus. Maybe you've never done this before. You know, we're doing this literally off the cuff. I feel the Lord is drawing us to do this. Father, from the battlefields of life, Lord, from the battlefields to the boardroom, from the boardroom to the Passover table, from the worries to the fears, from the fears to the Passover table, from the Passover table to the journey of work, from the journey of work to the field of life, to the gym, from the gym, dear God, to the car, to the field, as we crisscross the globe, Father, as we walk the dogs, as we walk in the woods in the field, take the children to school, live what we're doing, Father, from the field of life to the Passover table, from the Passover table to the cross of Calvary.
We come to you, Lord, at four minutes past ten UK time. And Lord, I thank you for this bread. I thank you that you're drawing us to the Passover table. Holy Spirit, right now, from the mad day we've had, from the crazy life we've had to the Passover table, Lord, I take this corner of this bread and I just simply break this corner and I say, Lord, I believe that this bread represents the body of Christ. And right now, Lord, as I take this bread, I believe that the body of Christ was broken for me. Take a moment. Play this back, listen to this later, because I've just literally thrown this into the mix. Holy Spirit, I thank you that this bread symbolizes the body of Christ. Let's just pause a moment. Thank you, Jesus. Let's take this bread. Father, in the name of Jesus, Holy Spirit, at five past ten on this evening.
Holy Spirit, live here in London, England. I take this little bit of grape juice. And Lord, it's just grape juice in the cup. But what it represents is redemption. And Lord, I thank you that all of us are redeemed. I thank you, God, that we ain't got to go to church. We've just got to get to the Passover table. Get us to the Passover table. As we sit in our bed right now, we've broken bread as we sit on the edge of the bed in the field of life, wherever we are, just break bread. Just take a moment. Listen to this later on, maybe tomorrow. Just lock this in and listen to this. Father, I thank you for the bread that we've taken. But right now, this cup, this cup that represents the blood of Jesus, this cup that represents the blood of the Lamb. This cup, dear God, that represents the blood of Jesus Christ. Father, we thank you that there was blood shed at the cross. But right now, Lord, as I take this, the redemption blood of Jesus, Holy Spirit, give us a moment in Jesus' name. Just take of that cup. Father, I thank you for this time. And right now, Lord, wherever we are, from the battlefield to the Passover table, from the field of life to the Passover table, to the arguments, to the fears of life, to the Passover table.
Jesus never rejected anyone. He gave the bread and the wine to Judas Iscaria at the Passover table. And the Bible says that Satan entered into the body of Judas. Study that scripture. Jesus won't reject you. Religion does, churches do. But Jesus says, Come. Holy Spirit, as we pedal out, bless us all, we pray. Wherever we are, Lord, from the battlefield to the Passover
table. Fill us afresh in Jesus' name. Amen. I'll see you soon.
