Wherever you are scattered at this hour, whatever your time is reflecting, however your day has been, I pray all is well in your world. And I know there are certain things that we got spinning in our lives that are driving us mad. You know, we may have too many plates spinning in life, but the love of God and the spirit of the Lord is that we can never get away, that nothing can separate us from the love of God. It doesn't matter what's going on. You know, each and every one of us live here in this studio right now, all of us, we all go through real hard situations. You know, life is never easy. You know what? The more I want Jesus, the more we pray, the more life gets harder, the more I want to seek him, the more I want to walk with him. You know, just the area of life. It feels like the whole world is just trying to crash down. The more you want Jesus, the more you want to walk with him, the more you want to feel his love and his mercy, the more you read, the more you time you try and get to pray, I should say rather. It feels so complicated. Life comes in, work, family, situations, life, TV, social medias, radios, everything just seems to bombard us all round. You know, the more we want Jesus, the harder it may find to be that case. But we've got to press in. He's with you right now. But nothing can separate us from the love of God, and especially the mind, the battlefield of the mind. I've had a uh bit of a ramble there, but we're gonna stop the rambling, we're gonna jump straight in.
We're coming out of the Gospel of John, chapter 8, verse 12. Jesus, bring peace to my mind and quiet my thoughts. Holy Spirit, right now, Lord, as the sun has set over the UK, as the sun is rising across the world, Lord, with the difficult weight of being a human being, and Lord, it is difficult, Jesus. Lord, it is hard work. Father, we are tired, we are weary, Lord. We have had a day and a half, but right now we come to you and we say, Lord, whatever the rhythm is over our lives, we're gonna breathe. Lord, I want you to calm
our thoughts. Lord, as we've just got in the house, or we've just got back from work, from school, from life, Lord, as we're still commuting, as we're stuck on the train, stuck on the the commute run, Lord, wherever we are, dear God, things are arising in our lives, the issues at home, the issues in family, the issues at school, the issues at work. Father, as we as we take the weight of the world into our front room, Father, I pray that we won't take the weight of school, of life, of family, of education, of work. I pray that we won't take the weight of everything back to our home. Lord, I pray that you will sweep through our home. Lord, and we will, dear God, find that home of a place of rest, a place of calm. Lord, if there's been trouble at home today, sweep it through. Lord, if there's been trouble at work, sweep it through. But Lord, bring peace to my mind tonight. Lord, the day what we've had, the roller coaster of a day, spirit of the living God. Lord, from London, all the way from London here, all the way to Switzerland, Zimbabwe, Canada, Peru, South Korea, and around the world. Father, I pray, Lord, that you will bring quietness to our mind, the battlefield, the overthinking, Lord, the skirmishes of life, the emails, the text, the rhythm, the workplace issues, the trouble at school, the trouble at life. Lord, just the the the area of life. Father God, that we've got no time, Jesus. We're running and racing everywhere. Father, calm us down. Holy Spirit, calm us down. I pray, dear God, that when we sleep tonight, our sleep will be sweet. And Lord, that there will be angels on the four corners of our bed. Lord, that they will be holding that place. Father, that we will feel the love of God. And I thank you for the beautiful book of Psalms 91, that He will command angels concerning you. God has deployed angels concerning your life, they will lift you up in their hands so that you will not strike your foot against that rock.
And there is a way forward, and his name is Jesus. Whatever your life is reflecting, the Spirit of the Lord is over you. Don't give up. The power of God is in your life. Come on, Holy Spirit. I pray at this hour you will bring peace to hearts, steadiness to minds, and Lord, let us be reminded that all is okay because Jesus walks with us. Father, I thank you that we have the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit in our lives. Strengthen us this day. Let the glory and the power of the love of God be over your lives. We will catch you in two. Don't go too far.
