Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself Reverend Ben Cooper, recorded live here in London, England, where the world gathers for five minutes of faith, love, hope, and strength. If you've got a prayer request, please email us to the studio, which is info at dailyprayer.uk. Wherever you are scattered across this beautiful world, I want to encourage you right
now. God is healing you, He's healing your heart and He's restoring peace
to your life. And the title of this prayer, as We Lock Down in Shields of Faith, As We Lock Together as brothers and sisters across the world, we're praying out that beautiful Lord's Prayer of Matthew chapter 6, verse 12.
Jesus, heal my heart and restore my peace. Father, we believe as, dear God, you've forgiven us. Help us to forgive. Lord, for those, dear God, that crisscross our lives, for those, dear God, that bring drama to the door of our life. Father, I pray that you will help us to be more forgiving. Lord, that we will forgive and we will lay it at the cross. Lord, that we won't carry this stuff anymore. Because Lord, you forgave us. And right now, Lord, maybe Jesus, that I am not feeling so comfortable and so uh rest is rested is because, Jesus, I'm
not forgiving. And Lord, I pray for everything and every situation that I've been through, we've been through, that we will learn that place, dear God, of forgiveness. So today, Lord, will you heal my heart? Lord, maybe today that's why I'm restless, why I'm agitated, why I can't find no peace is because I'm holding on to something. And Lord God, I don't want to hold on to this. Lord, I want this rucksack, dear God, of fear to go. Lord, I want these suitcases that I'm pulling around. Lord, I want this rucksack, dear God, of unforgiveness to go. Lord, I don't want to think about that person. I don't want to hold on to that situation. Lord, we don't want to walk in that rhythm anymore. So Lord, help me to let go of the suitcase of unforgiveness. Help me to let go of the suitcase of attitude problem. Help me to let go of this suitcase, dear God, of arrogance, bitterness, worries, fears, doubts. Holy Spirit, let me be more forgiving. Teach me how to forgive. Teach me how to move forward. Father, you told us through the word of God, through Jesus Christ, as Jesus died on the cross of Calvary, his last words to humanity was, Father, forgive them, for they know what they do. Lord, I pray that I will learn to forgive and to leave it in the arms of Jesus. Lord, will you
strengthen us today? Lord, life is hard. Lord God, it feels very monotonous. Lord, it feels like we're bouncing on the trampoline of monotony. Lord, we're carrying the same rhythm. Lord, I'm bouncing, dear God, in unforgiveness. I'm bouncing in fear. I'm bouncing on that trampoline, dear God, with PTSD. I'm bouncing, dear God, on that trampoline with doubt, with uncertainty. Lord, with the complicated way of the mind. Lord, I'm bouncing on that trampoline, holding these suitcases of unforgiveness, bitterness, anger, rage, malice. Help us, Lord, to leave these trampoline rhythms and also these rhythms of the world, dear God, to leave the suitcase of life. Lord, I need you to take this rucksack off my back because Lord, it's got it's filled up with bitterness. It's filled up with anger. It's filled up with doubt. It's filled up, dear God, with the way of the world. And Lord, it is weighing
me down. And Father, wherever we are, we pray from here live in London, England, all the way into Spain, Kenya, Canada, and Japan. Lord, this evening reflection time, Lord, this heavy emotional time together. Lord, we're searching for peace. But Lord, we are bouncing so fast on that trampoline. Lord, we can't keep up with the rhythm of our own pace. Lord, help me to stop thinking about those people that done this. Help me to stop thinking about those people at work that done that. Help me to stop thinking about the family members that allowed that. Lord, help me, Lord God, not to walk in the way, dear God, of unforgiveness. But Lord, I want to bring it all to the cross. I want to be bold. And Lord, as I pray right now for my history, for every situation that I've been through. And Lord, as I bring every area of darkness, of worries and fears in my own personal life to the cross of Calvary, help me to let go of the suitcase of unforgiveness. Help me to let go of the suitcase of doubt, worry, and fear. And Lord, I've had enough of this rucksack. Lord, the straps are cutting in my shoulders. Lord, I've been carrying this for too many years. I got to get this rucksack off. Spirit of the living God, cut the strap. Take dear God, the rucksack of worry, fear, doubt, all the uncertainties
of life. Father, from the battlefield to the boardroom. Lord, we want to walk with the Holy Spirit. We want to walk with the glory. Lord, I want to walk in forgiveness. I want to walk in being comfortable. Lord, I want to be able to hold my head up high. Not because of arrogance and not because of who I am in my autonomy, but who my God is. And you forgave me. Lord, and you gave me more chances than I could ever say. So Spirit of the Living God, I thank you for the power of redemption and the power of hope. Lord, bring sanctification, justification, and let the glory, let your mercy and your power, your saving grace over every listener right now. Wherever you are, the spirit of the Lord is over your life. And this is what the Bible says forgive them, for they know no what they do. Holy Spirit, take me to that place. May the Lord be with you. I will catch you at the next prayer. Don't go too far.
