Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, recorded live here in London, England, where the world gathers for five minutes of faith, hope, love, and strength. If you've got a prayer request, you can email us to the studio, which is info at dailyprayer.uk. Wherever you are, scattered across this beautiful world. May the love of Jesus Christ be over your life. It is the weekend, it is Sunday, and whatever your life is looking like, we pray right now. We're just crossing past uh midnight in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The love of God is over your life, the Spirit of the Lord is with each and every one of us, and we're
gonna pray. And what we're praying for, Rev, we're praying, Jesus, hold my life steady while I rest tonight. Father, in the name of Jesus, we thank you for every listener that is scattered across the world. And we pray for such an outpouring of your peace, your love, your mercy. And right now, Lord, will you remove the noise of life? Father, the noise of life. And Lord, will you hold us close tonight? Jesus, hold our lives steady us while we rest. Holy Spirit, Lord, as we try to sleep, Lord, as we just got in from work, getting out to work, living life, doing what we're doing, Lord, just mooching around the world. Father, we pray, dear God, that the love of Jesus Christ will be so strong over us. And for those, dear God, that are just getting in and just getting themselves settled down after a heavy day, Lord, and whatever is going on in our lives, we pray, Jesus, give us calm. Steady my heart tonight. Lord, bring peace to the front door of our house. Lord, bring peace to our workplace, bring peace to our school, bring peace to the commute, to the drive, wherever we are. Lord, as night falls here live in London, England, and Father, as the sun has already set and as the sun might be rising wherever you are, we welcome
every one of you. And as we get down on the field of life, and as we scrum down, as we lock together, lock arms, we lock shoulders and we press and we push against the enemy's lines and we just keep going and never give up. The spirit of the Lord is with each and every one of us. But right now, Jesus, hold my life. Jesus, hold my life, steady my life, keep my life stable, Lord. Holy Spirit, will you come and just bring peace to our homes tonight? Will you bring peace to our workspace? Will you bring peace, dear God, to the battlefield of life? Father, we need the fire of God. We need the line of Judah. Lord, Holy Spirit, wherever we are at this night hour.
Holy God, just almost three minutes past twelve, live here in London, England. We pray for an outpouring of the Spirit of God. That the love of Jesus Christ would just rest on our shoulders. Lord, we want the gentle breath of God. Lord, we want that gentle move of the Holy Spirit. Lord, we want you to breathe down the corridor of our life. Father, we want you to breathe in our lungs. Lord, we want to feel our lungs expanding with the breath of life. Father, we want to walk strong. We want to walk tall. Lord, we want to walk in favor. We want to walk in comfort and we want to walk in rest. But right now, Lord, Father, we come to the King of Glory. And Lord, whether we're just getting in from work, whether we're getting home from work, whether we're getting around to work, whether we're going out to work, whatever we may be doing in the circle of this life, Jesus, hold our lives steady. Hold our lives steady tonight. Hold our lives steady today. Hold our lives steady this morning. Father, will you keep us steady?
Lord, we want to feel the rhythm of God. We want to feel the power of the Holy Spirit. And Lord, wherever we are, from London to the United States, from the United States to South Korea, Kenya, and Australia, to the battles of life. Father, get us ready for the day. Get us ready for the evening. Get us ready for the rest of the day. Lord, and as we rest, dear God, I pray that their sleep will be sweet. And Lord, angels will be deployed, sorry, over their lives. And Lord, and there will be a deployment from glory. The angels will watch over you, that the Spirit of the Lord is with you. And wherever you are right now, Jesus Christ is calling each and every one of us to walk strong, to walk in faith. And this is what the psalmist says as we pedal out of this
prayer. Psalm 121, verse 3. He will not let your foot slip, he watches over you. You will not slumber. Father, I thank you that you are watching over the listeners right now. I thank you, dear God, that you're with them in their walk of life. You're in their shoes. You're in their rhythm. Lord, you're in you're in the skin, because Lord, you created all things. And Father, we pray. Lord, as we look at the rock face of life at this hour and wherever we are, I pray, dear God, that you will help us, Lord, to be steadfast in the word and never give up. But Father, we thank you for the beautiful prayers of David. Prayers in the Psalms of 121, verse 3. He will not let your foot slip. Let's just remind ourselves, Father, Holy Spirit, dear God, Jesus, Emmanuel, Jehovah Jirah, thank you that you will not let our foot slip. But right now, carry the listeners across the other side of the world. Bring peace. Whatever battles they're going through, Lord, let the love of God be over their lives in Jesus'
name. God bless you. I will catch you at the next prayer.
