Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, recorded live here in London, England, where the world gathers for five minutes of faith, hope, love, and strength. If you've got a prayer request, you can email us to the studio, which is info at dailyprayer.uk. That is info at dailyprayer.uk, wherever you are across the world. It is the 12 a.m. prayer. It is the early doors. Whatever your day has looked like as you're coming to the end of the day, whether your day is starting, wherever you are situated across the world, it
is us. We are live here in London, England. And I apologize for my voice. You know, the last couple of days I've been a bit croaking, a bit stumbling for words and all that with this sore throat that's going around. But we are here and we are praying. It is 12 a.m.
God bless you, and we're praying out of the beautiful book of Psalms 23, verse 1. And the title is Jesus, Shepherd My Heart and Settle My Night. Oh Father, yes, please. Holy Spirit, I thank you for every listener around the world. I pray, dear God, that they will find the shepherd's heart. Lord, we believe that you are our shepherd, you are our God, and you are our king. Lord, we come to you right now at 12 a.m. Lord, we ask for peace, we ask for your mercy. We pray for saving grace over our lives. We believe that the Lord is our shepherd. We lack nothing. So, Lord, in my mind, where dear God, my mind brings all these thoughts and this unusual stirring, Lord, where I think that I don't have, where I think that I might not be able. Lord, will you help me? And Lord, I don't want to live by my mind. I want to live by the word of God. And I believe that Jesus Christ is our shepherd. And wherever we are, right here from London, England, all the way to Brazil, India, the United States, Portugal, and Chile, I pray that the fire of God, the love of God, and the presence of the Holy Spirit will just carry you at this hour.
Father, will you quiet in this hour right now? Lord, Father, as we're getting under the duvet of life, Father, as we're getting, dear God, into bed. Lord, as we're wrestling the bears and the lions of life, Father, as we've been being stirred up all day long, Lord, whatever sort of day we've had, whatever the hour is, whatever the moment is, wherever we are across the world, I thank you, dear God, that you are strengthening each and every one of us. Lord, will you heal us physically, mentally, Lord God, everything that's going on in our lives, Lord, the internal battles, the worries, the fears, the doubts, the uncertainties of life? Father, I pray for such an outpouring of your spirit over the listeners' lives. And Jesus, we thank you that you are our shepherd and you do not slumber. Lord, I believe in miracles. I believe in healing. So right now, Lord, will you calm our heart? Will you surround us, dear God, with peace and love? And will you, dear God, just nurture our spirit tonight? Jesus, as we pray for peace, Jesus, as we look to the Father's heart, Lord, we thank you. Whatever battlefield we're going through, whatever trial, whatever situation, Lord, I pray that the pots and pans, dear God, in our head, Lord, will cease. The fear will stop, the panic, dear God, will melt like wax. But we thank you that God is our good God and he is our
king. As Holy Spirit, I pray that wherever we are, that we will lean into the gospel of John 10, 11. I am the good shepherd. I am the good shepherd, and he lays down his life for the sheep. Father, we thank you that you are the good shepherd, and the shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. And Lord, we thank you that you went to the cross of Calvary, that life, dear God, was given at the cross. And Father, we have given hope and we have been given eternal life through the working and salvational work of the cross of Calvary.
And Father, wherever we are dotted across this world at this hour, from the battlefields to the boardroom, Father, will you just settle our heart tonight? Jesus, shepherd my heart and settle my night right now. Wherever we are, we need peace, we need your love, we need your mercy, we need your favor. But Lord, bless the listeners from the crown of their head. Lord, if they're feeling unsteady, Lord, let them and help them to walk in your righteousness. Lord, let your love and your arms be wrapped around every listener right now, wherever they are. Let the Spirit of the Lord lead you. The glory of God and the power of the Holy Spirit is over your life. I will catch you soon. Don't go too far. I'll see you very shortly.
