Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself Reverend Van Cooper, recorded live here in London, England, where the world gathers for five minutes of faith, hope, love, and strength. If you've got a prayer request, you can email us to the studio, which is info at dailyprayer.uk. Thank you to everybody that supports this listener-funded
ministry. You know, if you need a Bible, we will get you a Bible across the world wherever you are. Bibles are going out in the name of Jesus Christ. Thank you for your prayers. Thank you for standing with me at this moment in time and putting up with my voice, all the crokiness, all the wrong pronunciation, all the slowness, all the stuff that's going on with this sore throat. But God is with us, God is healing us wherever you are. Good morning, good evening, good afternoon.
The love of God is over our lives, and we are praying this prayer. Jesus, strengthen my thoughts as night closes in. Jesus, strengthen my thoughts as night closes in. It doesn't matter what time, wherever you are across the world, when you listen to the titles of these prayers, because they mean the same, whether it's one o'clock, two o'clock, whatever time zone is that you capture these prayers, all things work together for the good of those that love Jesus Christ. Come on, let's pray.
Father, in the name of Jesus, whatever the time zone is, whatever the part of the world we live, Holy Spirit, as the sun rises, as the sun sets, Lord, at the beginning of the day, at the end of the day, at the hour, wherever we are, Father, from the battlefields to the shopping trolley, from the shopping trolley, dear God, to the Passover table, from the Passover table to the field of life. Father, wherever we are, we thank you that you're with us through every corridor of every situation. Lord, wherever we are across this world, Father, we thank you that we ain't gonna get to church, we gotta get to Jesus. Thank you, Lord, we ain't gotta get to religion, we gotta get to the Word of God. Thank you, Lord, we ain't gotta get, dear God, to church on Sunday because our God is omnipresent, omnipotent. You are in all, you are about all. And the Spirit of the Lord lives in your heart, wherever you are right now. Jesus Christ loves you. All things are possible to those who believe. So right now, Lord, we believe. Lord, as the hour closes in, as night starts to close in, Father, we pray for strength. We pray for those that are kicking the duvet off. We pray for those, dear God, that are worried about today, those that are worried about the night time that is becoming and settling in on their lives. Jesus, strengthen my thoughts as night
closes in. But right now, wherever we are, scattered across the world, from England all the way to Singapore, from Singapore to Brazil, from Brazil to Kenya, from Kenya to island Sri Lanka, we're believing that the love of God is over our lives. And Father, we thank you that Joshua chapter 1, verse 7 is for each and every one of us. Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey the law Moses gave for you. Do not turn from the left nor the right, then you will be successful and prosperous wherever you go. Father, we thank you that the Spirit of God is over our heart, our mind and our bodies and our souls. And Jesus, strengthen my thoughts as the night closes in. Strengthen my heart, dear God, as the day begins. Wherever we are, whatever the time zone is, from the battlefields, from the external battles to the inner
battles, to the private battles, to the corporate battles. Father, whatever we are going through, we believe and we are dependent on Jesus Christ. Lord, our lives are dependent on Jesus. Father, we thank you that you are dealing with every invisible burden, every burden that is seen, every burden that we cannot see. Lord, I pray, dear God, for those that are going through grief, those that are going through trials, those that are going through areas of, dear God, of unstability, Lord, I pray right now that the love of God, the fire of God, remove confusion, bring courage. Lord, as fear tries to rise, dear God, as doubt tries to bite us on the ankles at this hour. Holy Spirit, I pray that we will draw close to you and God will draw close to us wherever we are, whatever your name is, whatever your tribe, whatever your language, wherever you sit across this beautiful word. Holy Spirit, Lord God, I thank you wherever you are, the word is
with you. And let's sit close to the word. Let's get in the word. Let's sit at the desk and get to the word. Let's sit wherever we are in the van. Let's take a moment to read the scripture. Take a moment out of the craziness of life. The Spirit of the Lord sits with you. The spirit of the word sits with you. God sits with you. The love of God is over your life.
Never ever give up. My name's Reverend Ben Cooper. I will catch you in two. Don't go too far. God bless. I'll see you soon.
