We're jumping straight into prayer, and the title of this prayer is Beautiful. It is Jesus. Hold me close when I feel weary and drained tonight. Good evening, good morning, good afternoon, wherever you are. We are gonna pray, we're gonna lock shields of faith. The Spirit of the Lord is over each and every one of us. I know you're tired, I know you're weary, I know you're exhausted, I know many of us are carrying battle fatigue, and we're carrying stuff right the way up all the way through our life. Let's not carry any stuff anymore. What do you mean, stuff? We're carrying fears, we're carrying doubts, we're carrying unforgiveness, we're carrying arrogance, we're carrying so much stuff, and uh, you know what I mean. Come on, let's get down to the brass tacks of this. Let's get straight into prayer. Wherever
you are, we gotta leave the baggage at the cross of Calvary because I gotta tell you right now, the love of God is over our lives, and the more we carry of our history, the more tired and drained we are gonna feel. But let's get to the cross. Come on, never give up. Let's lock shields of faith.
Father, right now, Jesus, hold me close when I feel weary and I feel drained. Holy Spirit, hold me close when I feel weary and I feel drained. God, hold me close when I feel weary and I feel drained. Lord, I need Jehovah Jirah. I need Jehovah Nissi. I need Jehovah Shalom. Lord, we need the love of God, the power of God, the protection of God. But right now, Lord, at this hour, Lord, we feel drained, we feel weary. Lord, we've got a bit of battle fatigue. Lord, we've been through the valley of the shadow of death most of our lives, Jesus. And we are starting to feel quite exhausted, quite run down. And Lord, we need your dear God to heal us. Lord, our spirit needs healing, our mind needs healing. And right now, Lord, I believe that all things work together for good. Lord, your word is yes and amen. Lord, your love, your mercy, your saving
grace. But right now, Lord, we pray through Psalm 91, verse 14, because he loves me, says the Lord, I will rescue him, I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. Lord, firstly, we acknowledge the name of Jesus. Father, we recognize the name of Jesus. Lord, I thank you, dear God, as we recognize the name, Lord, we get protection from the Holy God of Israel. And Lord, not only do we get protection from the Holy God of Israel, Father, we thank you that you will rescue us. Because Lord, I've driven this car down a bit of a rabbit hole. Lord, I've driven this car down a bit of a cul-de-sac. Lord, I've driven the car of life into a bit of an awkward situation, Lord, and I wasn't thinking, dear God. I was just, dear God, acting according to the way of the world. And Father Lord, I'm sorry that we act according to the way of the world. Lord, you tell us do not conform to the pattern of the world. So Lord, now I know I feel why I feel drained and tired and exhausted.
Because Lord, I'm living the bounce of the world. And Lord, I don't want to bounce, dear God. I don't want to feel drained. I don't want to feel weary. I don't want to feel tired. I don't want to feel the pressure of life. Lord, I pray right now wherever we are, dear God, right here from London, England, all the way to Brazil, from Brazil all the way, dear God, to Angola, India, dear God, Portugal and Peru. We're praying for the love of God from the battlefields of life. Dear God, to the trenches of life, dear God, to those areas, dear God, of
those war zones that we walk in. Father, I pray that the love of God, the beauty of God, and the presence of Jesus Christ just will strengthen each and every one of us. Lord, we need your word. We need your word in our lives. Father, whatever we are battling, Lord, whatever scared moment we feel at this moment, Lord, we need to be filled to the full measure of your glory. And wherever the listeners are, wherever they are scattered, I pray, from that battlefield to the field of life, from the field of life to the school run, from the school run, dear God, to the shops, from the shops, dear God, to the cooker, from the cooker to the washing machine, the tumble dryer, to the golf course, to the scaffold, dear God, to the job that we do, to retirement, wherever we are, whatever we are facing, whatever we are doing. I pray, dear God, that you will bless the homemakers. I pray, dear God, that you will fill every one of us with the love of God. But right now, hold me close when I feel weary and I feel drained. Jesus, hold me close when I feel weary and I feel
drained. And Lord, we believe that all things are possible to those who believe. Right now, I believe the love of God is over your life. God has rescued you, He has rescued me. Come on, thank God for our lives. In the name of Jesus Christ, I will catch you in two. Don't go too far.
