Wherever you are, dotted across the world, whatever your hour, whatever your time zone is, whatever your colour, whatever your culture, whatever tribe, whatever language you speak, I want to tell you right now that we are saved and we are blessed and highly favored.
We're jumping straight back into the beautiful book of Psalms 91, verse 14. Jesus, hold my heart when evening feels heavy and hope feels so far away. Jesus, hold my heart when the evening feels heavy and hope feels so far away. Lord, I pray. Lord, as we look at this evening that lies in front of us, whatever skirmishes have gone on, whatever trouble has gone on, Lord, if we got battle fatigue, Lord, if we're tired and exhausted, Lord, if we got this late day fatigue, this feeling, dear God, of emotional weariness, the heavy heart, Lord, we want, dear God, to live in hope. Lord, we want to flip this all around through the power of the word of God. Lord, if we've got battle fatigue, Lord, if we got late day emotional stress, Lord, will you remove that, Lord? Will you renew our hearts, Lord? We want to live in hope. We want to live in the power of God. And we believe in Psalm 91, verse 14, because he loves me, says the Lord, I will rescue him, I will protect him, for he acknowledges
my name. Lord, I just want to square something up, Jesus, through this prayer time. Lord, I thank you that I ain't got to go to church. I ain't got to be religious. Lord, I can sit, dear God, on my stairs at home. And Lord, all I've got to do is just recognize that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. Because all your word tells me is just acknowledge my name. What is that name? They gave him the name, which is above every other name, and at the name of Jesus. Every knee shall bow on the earth, under the earth, through the earth. Every tongue confessed that Jesus Christ is Lord. Father, right now, wherever we are in the battle of life, whatever we have faced today, whatever hurdles we have jumped, Lord, I pray that you will give us energy, divine energy, dear God, and we will feel the love of God. But Jesus, hold my heart this evening when this hour feels heavy and hope feels so far away.
Lord, we're just acknowledging your name. Lord, I'm sitting in the van and I'm just acknowledging your name. Lord, I'm on the commute, Lord, and I'm, dear God, being whisked home on the train, Lord, and I'm tired, but I'm acknowledging your name. Lord, I've got the kids, dear God, at the basketball, at the netball, at the cricket, dear God. I've got the kids at the swimming lesson. Lord, and I'm sitting here and I'm tired, but I'm just acknowledging your name. Lord, I'm walking around this shop, dear God, and I don't want to do this shopping because I'm tired. Lord, I'm weary, but I'm holding on to this shopping trolley and I'm longing to get home. But Lord, I'm just gonna acknowledge your name. Lord, I'm sitting at the sofa, dear God. I'm sitting at home on the edge of the sofa. Lord, just looking, staring at the TV, but Lord, I'm just gonna acknowledge your name. Because when I acknowledge your name, Father, I thank you that I don't have to walk into a holy box. I don't have to get into church. I don't have to get into the rhythm of a Sunday morning. Because Lord, I'm just acknowledging your name. And when I acknowledge your name, the word of God tells me through the Psalms, through the prayers of David,
Psalm 91, verse 14, that you will rescue me, that you will protect me simply because I acknowledge your name. And Lord, I thank you that I haven't got to go anywhere to acknowledge your name. Lord, I'm stuck in traffic right now and I'm acknowledging your name. Lord, I'm weary and I'm tired and I'm acknowledging your name. Lord, I'm sitting at my desk just staring at the screen, but I'm acknowledging your name. Lord, I'm laying in bed cold, tired, and weary, and I'm acknowledging your name. Lord, I'm just having me nails down and I'm listening, Lord God, to this voice, and I'm just acknowledging your name. And Spirit of the Living God, I thank you that all I've got to do is acknowledge the name of Jesus. You are the Lion of Judah. You are the great I am. You are Jehovah Jirah, Jehovah Nissi, Jehovah Shalom, Spirit of the Living God. We pray for such an outpouring of your love from the battlefields of life to the boardroom, from the boardroom to the Nalbar, from the Nalbar to the Barbers, from the barbers, dear God to the scaffold, from the scaffold to the screensaver, from the screensaver to swimming, wherever we are, whatever we are doing, Father, in the name of Jesus, we believe in miracles. And right now, Lord, you are our miracle working God. Jesus, hold my heart when the evening feels heavy and all hope has disappeared. But Lord, you tell me and you
remind me through your word to me. Lord, this scripture has been given to the human race. Lord, we have not written a word to you, but you have written the word to us. And right now, Lord, we hold on to Psalm 91, verse 14. Because he loves me, I will rescue him. I will protect him. For he acknowledges my name. Sisters and brothers, wherever you are, let's just acknowledge the name of Jesus. Father, we thank you that we realize that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world, the Lion of Judah. Come, Jesus, refresh us at this hour. May the Spirit of the Lord be over you. Never give up. Jesus Christ is with you. I will catch you in two.
