Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Van Cooper, recorded live here in London, England, where the world gathers for five minutes of faith, love, hope, and strength. If you've got a prayer request, please email us to the studio which is info at dailyprayer.uk. That is infodailyprayer.uk, and we are praying straight out of the barrel of truth. We are in the good book, the word of God, the greatest book the world has ever seen.
We're praying out of Psalm 91, verse 4. And the title of this prayer is very easy and beautiful. It is Jesus, cover my morning with peace and lift the weight as I wake up. Holy Spirit, as we wake up, Father, as the sun starts to rise here in the UK, Father, wherever we are dotted across the world, Jesus, cover my morning with peace. Holy Spirit, I thank you that the love of God is over us, that the Spirit of the Lord is inside of us. And right now, Lord, Father, as we are getting ready for the day, whatever comes down the track of life, Father, we thank you that we are dressed and we are ready.
Lord, that we are dressed in the book of Ephesians, chapter six, that we got the full armor of God on, that the battle belongs to the Lord. Father, we ain't gonna jump in the boxing ring of life. Father, Lord, we ain't gonna jump in with anyone. Lord, we ain't gonna prove anything to anyone. All we gotta do is just say, I love
you, Jesus. All we gotta do is follow the word of God. And I pray right now, Lord, that we will get ourselves a paperback version of the word of God. And we will read that word and we will open that word. Father, we will sit there with a coffee, with a cup of tea, and we will just read the beautiful book, the word of God. Let your word, dear God, penetrate our heart. Let your word penetrate our mind. Let your word penetrate this skin, Father, from the four corners of the world, all the way from here in London, England, all the way, dear God, to the Cayman Islands, all the way from the Cayman Islands, all the way to Australia, America, Brazil, all the way back to France and to the UK. Spirit of the living God, we call on the greatest name in heaven and earth. And right now, Lord, I pray that the morning light will shine on our lives. Lord, lift the morning anxiety, cover us with peace. Lord, renew this hope today. We believe in miracles. We believe in the power of God. You are the Father of Isaac, Jacob, and Abraham. You are the King of kings and the Lord of Lords. You are the King of the Jews. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we believe in healing. Father, we thank you that our bodies are healed, our minds are healed. Father, you're dealing with our thinking. You're dealing
with our mind. You're dealing with our cognitive processing. You're dealing with our heart. You're dealing with the physical. You're dealing with our spiritual walk with you. And Father, right now, we want to walk with the divine. We want to walk with the Lion of Judah. Spirit of the living God, will you remove the noise of the pots and pans in our head? Lord, the clanging, the drumbe of life, the monotony, dear God. We don't want to live as robots. We want to live, dear God, as brothers and sisters free in the name of Jesus Christ. We thank you for John 8.32. You will know the truth and the truth will set you free. Father, right now, Lord, we indulge ourselves. We rest, Lord, we jump into the beautiful book of Psalms 91, the prayers of David, Psalm 91, verse 4. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge. Father, I thank you. The only place on planet earth that I'm going to find refuge is in the arms of Jesus. The only place I'm going to find refuge is under the wings of the God of Israel. The only place I'm going to find rest is at the cross of Calvary. The only place I'm going to find healing is in the scripture, is in the Word of God. Father, give me a paperback version of the Word of God. Lord, I want to walk with you. Lord, I want to talk with you. Lord, I want to run in the power of the
Holy Spirit. We want to fill the fire of God on whatever part of the world, whatever corner of the globe we are living in. Father, from the battlefield to the boardroom, from the boardroom to the field of life. Father, as we get dressed ready for the day, we chuck our clothes on, we throw our lipstick on, we comb our hair in the name of Jesus Christ. Lord, I thank you that we are ready for the day. Lord, as we prepare for the day, Lord Jesus, cover my morning with peace and lift the weight when I wake up. Holy Spirit, lift the weight, dear God, as soon as we're awake. Lord, if we're worrying about the morning, the day, Holy Spirit, remove that right
now. But Lord, you tell us through the beautiful book of Philippians 4, verse 9, very, very clearly. Our God is our peace. Holy Spirit, at this early door, as the sun is rising, as the sun may be setting, whenever we listen to this timeline of prayers, Holy Spirit, send that latter-day rain. Lord, cover our morning with peace and let your love and your mercy, dear God, come, Jesus. Holy Spirit, I thank you for every listener. I thank you for every heart that's with me. May the Spirit of the Lord be with you. Don't go too far. I'll catch you soon.
