Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, recorded live here in London, England, where the world gathers for five minutes of faith, love, hope, and strength. If you've got a prayer request, you can email us to the studio, which is info at dailyprayer.uk. Thank you to everybody on RB Christian Radio, everybody in the archives of these podcasts, these prayer sessions that we're going through, over 1,400 prayers that we got. Quick fired, five-minute commuter prayers. The Spirit of God is over our lives. We never give up. We believe in healing. We are here, you are there. So come on, without further ado, let's knuckle down wherever you are across this beautiful earth. God loves
you. John 3 16 is over your life, but we are in this prayer cycle of Psalm 91, and we're in verse 5. You know, if you're in trouble, if you're worried, if you're scared, if you're uncertain about certain things, I would encourage you now to get a paperback version of the word of God, not through your device, not through the electronical formation that we can get them, purely because emails we we know we're going to get distracted very clearly by the phone or the device. But get yourself a paperback version. If you need a paperback version, hit us in the studio and we will get you one very, very simply and easy. Email us info at dailyprayer.uk and put a request
in for a Bible. Get yourself a paperback version, get a cup of tea, get a cup of coffee, a nice croissant, maybe a cheeky little McDonald's, and just read the word of God. Come on, we're jumping straight in. Psalm 91, verse 5. Jesus, strengthen my thoughts and hold me steady as this day begins. Father, from the battles of the night, dear God, from the loneliness of the night, from the fear of the night to the sunrise. Holy Spirit, we thank you that the sun is rising in our lives. Father, we want to feel the heavenly rain. We want to hear the Lion of Judah. Lord, we want to walk in grace and in mercy and favor. We want to feel the love of God. Spirit of the living God, I thank you for Psalms
91, verse 5. You will not fear the terror of night nor the arrow that flies by day. Lord, the arrow that flies by day. Lord, that text that flies by day. Lord, that language that comes from certain people that comes by day. Lord, that arrow of language, that text of language, that email, dear God of language, that arrow that comes by day, that flies from the HR office, dear God, to the school, from the school, dear God, to the workplace issues. Father, I pray that that arrow will not land in our skin that we walk in. That we won't allow those words, we won't allow that data to affect our day. But right now, Lord, however it comes through voice, through
electronic format, Lord, we will not allow the arrow by day to affect the joy of the Lord. Spirit of the living God, I thank you today. You are strengtheners, and whatever comes down the track of life, we believe in miracles. Jesus, strengthen my thoughts. Hold me steady as this day begins. Lord, we believe in miracles. Father, from the four corners of the world, all the way back to London, all the way to Colombia, all the way to Peru, all the way to Brazil, all the way to Saint Paulo. Lord, wherever we are, we believe in the fire and the power and the love of God. Lord, we don't want to hear the bear of fear. We don't want to hear, dear God, the lion of untruth. We want to hear, dear God, the gospel of peace. We want to feel the love of Jesus Christ. And from the battlefield to the boardroom, from the boardroom to the barbers, from the barbers to the Nowbar, from the Now Bar, dear God, all the way to the scaffold, from the scaffold to the van to the car to the bus stop, wherever we are, whatever
we are doing, the circle of our life, spirit of the living God, I thank you that the word of God is in our heart. And right now, I pray for every listener, whatever they are battling, whatever they are facing, whatever they see, whoever they are, whatever tribe, whatever tongue, whatever language, spirit of the living God, I thank you that the psalmist has written those beautiful psalms for us. You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day. Lord, whatever debris is coming towards us, whatever is flying by the daytime, Lord, whatever comes our way, Father, we thank you that our God lifts up the standard. We thank you that our God has put a fiery hedge around us. We thank you that God is protecting us, that there are angels put to flight, there are angels deployed over your life because he loves me, says the Lord, that he has to protect
us. And as we pedal out of this prayer, my God is with you. The King of Kings is over your life. You are spirit-filled, you are blessed and highly favored. 2 Corinthians 12, verse 9. My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. The Spirit of God is over your life, the love of Jesus Christ is with you from the battlefields to the boardrooms. Jesus, strengthen my thoughts and hold me steady as this day begins. God bless. I'll see you in two.
