Whatever you are going through, whatever the crisis, whatever the valley, whatever the mountaintop experience, we gotta lock shields of faith today because there are things happening on the news that we never thought that we'd hear or we'd see. What the globe is actually doing. Jesus Christ is in full charge. Everything is okay. Come on, let's lock in wherever you are. Let's scrum down together. Let's lock in shields
of faith. We're in Psalm 91, verse 14. Thank God for your life. Thank God for every area. You might be walking through the valley, you might be having a mountaintop peak experience. And wherever you are, God is with you. Never give up in prayer because prayer is the key. Prayer doesn't change God, it changes me. It changes me to be able to cope with, to move through the valley. God heals me. God is the same yesterday, today, and forevermore. So let's pray. Let's lock in. As you pray for us, I pray for you. We pray together. We pray for everything. We never give up because God is with you. Are you emotionally weary? Are you tired and exhausted? Have you got this late day fatigue where we like hit this wall? Oh God, I need a sugar rush. No, Lord, I don't need no chocolate. I need Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. Come on, without further ado. This is the title that we're praying for out of Psalm 91, verse 14. Jesus, hold my heart when the evening feels heavy and hope feels far away. Jesus, hold my heart when this evening feels heavy and hope feels far away. Father, I thank you for the day.
I thank you, Lord, for the hours that have gone before. I thank you for the rhythm of today. Whatever the drumbeat has been, whatever path we have chosen, whatever valley we've walked down, whatever rock face we've climbed of life, whatever situation we've gone through, Lord, we believe. We believe clearly in miracles. We believe in the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit. And right now, Lord, Jesus, at this hour, Lord, 6 p.m. right now in live in London, England, Lord, at the height of commuter. Lord, right, dear God, in the traffic jam, stark, dear God, on the A2, stark on the dreaded M25. Lord, stuck at the mouth of the Dartford tunnel. Jesus help me. Lord, wherever we are stuck on the traffic jam of life, whatever we are going through, whatever the motorway system we use to commute, wherever we are across the world, Father, I pray for everyone at a bus stop, everyone, dear God, on a school run, everyone on a commute, everyone coming home. Lord, everyone, dear God, that is just getting themselves ready for work on the other side of the world. All those on the other side of the world, dear God, that are doing the school run, doing the work run, doing the coffee run. Lord, wherever we are, dear God, from the battlefield to the shopping trolley, from the shopping trolley to the Passover table, from the Passover table to the field of life, the circle of life that we live in, we operate. Father Jesus, Holy Spirit, hold my heart when this evening feels heavy and hope feels far away.
Lord, I need a divine encounter because Lord, I got this late day fatigue. I've got battle fatigue because today, Lord, we've come through the fire of life. Lord, we've come through the bullets of life. Lord, we have dodged every bullet under the sun. Lord, we've had emails coming this way, text coming that way, social dross on our back, Holy Spirit, the line manager has been barking up and down. Lord, situation, the kids, the family situation is exploded. Now, Lord, I'm sitting in traffic and I'm tired. Lord, I'm too tired to drive. Lord, I'm too tired to commute. I'm too tired to cook. I'm too tired to clean. Lord, I'm exhausted. I am weary. Lord, I've got emotional weariness and I need a divine encounter. Lord, you are the living God. And right now, Lord, we call the things that are not as though they are. We speak over our life. We speak over our body. We speak over our mind. We speak over every area of life. And we believe, dear God, that this heaviness is
lifting. Lord, we thank you for Psalm 91, verse 14. Because he loves me, says the Lord, I will rescue him, I will protect him. The God that we serve, the father of Isaac, Jacob and Abraham, Jehovah Jirah, Jehovah Nisi, the Lion of Judah is with you in the traffic of life. The King is with you wherever you are. Jesus, I've just got in the front door of life. Lord, I've closed the front door. The whole family has kicked off at me. It is going crazy. I'm weary, I'm tired. Lord, I don't need the drama. Lord, remove the drama. Spirit of the living God, hold my heart when evening feels heavy and hope feels so far away. Holy Spirit, Lord, this life that we live, the craziness of life, the uncertainties of life. Father, we thank you that you're in our life.
