And we are going to jump straight into the book of Psalms. We're carrying on this cycle. We are changing and switching just into Psalm 23, verse 4. And the title of this late hour prayer is Jesus. Walk with me through the shadow and light my tomorrow again. Lord, will you light our tomorrow? Father, Lord, when we wake in a few hours, Father, I pray that the fire of God will be in these bones. But Jesus, right now, walk with me through the shadow. Holy Spirit, walk with us through
the shadow. Dear God, from the four corners of the world, whatever colour, whatever tribe, whatever tongue, whatever language we speak, whatever our life looks like, wherever we reside, wherever we live and walk and work, education, life, whatever we are doing. Holy Spirit, I thank you for the psalmist. I thank you for David. I thank you for the character of David. I thank you, dear God, that he was a real human being that followed God, that made mistakes, that lived, that fell, that slipped on the ice of life. Holy Spirit, I thank you for the characters in the Word of God. I thank you, Lord, there was and there was never going to be any holy Joes. They was real human beings going through the trials, going through the valleys, going through the battles of life. And fathers, we live and go through the battles of life. Jesus, walk with me through the shadow I'm in at this hour. Holy Spirit, walk with me through this shadow. The shadow, dear God, of sickness, the shadow of fear, the shadow of doubt, the shadow of worry, the shadow of financial pressure, the shadow, dear God, of just living life. Holy Spirit, I pray that you will lift the pressure off of people tonight and wherever we are, from the four corners of the world, all the way to London, all the way from London to Brazil, from Brazil to Ireland to Scotland to Wales. Holy Spirit, to America and dear God, far beyond the human eye.
Lord, we need peace at this hour. Lord, whatever the battle's been today, Father, dear God, I ask you right now, if this armor that we're wearing has been stained, if it has been marked, if the armor, our bodysuit, dear God, has been bruised and been hurt, Father, will you heal this skin? Holy Spirit, will you heal this heart? Lord, we're carrying internal wounds. We're carrying internal bruises. Lord, we might smile with our white teeth, with our blue eyes, dear God, but Holy Spirit, inside, Lord, we are broke. Inside we are scared. Inside we are worried. So Lord, whatever is going on in our lives, dear God, I pray, from the battlefield to the boardroom, from the boardroom to the school run, to the Costa run, to the breakfast run, to the shop run. Father, for those that are in the sh supermarkets now, doing the shopping, those homemakers, those that are cleaning, hovering, tidying, washing, making sure the children, making sure the family are right, for those that are just exhausted, just flaked out on the bed, those, dear God, that have just dropped their head on the steering wheel of their car because they can't stand the traffic anymore. Spirit of the living God, I pray for encouragement. I pray for peace. I pray for those that are battling life-limiting illnesses. I pray for healing. I pray, dear God, for those that are suffering with mental health, that they will be healed. I pray, dear God, as we go through the valley of the shadow of death. Father, we thank you for the Psalms of David,
Psalm 23, verse 4. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, let's remind ourselves we are walking through a dark valley, but the joy of the Lord is our strength. Come on, let's smile, let's be strong, let's stand up, let's be bold, and let's encourage one another. Never give up. Whatever you are facing, whatever you are having thrown at you in your life. Don't listen to the news, don't listen to culture, don't allow the world to shape you and control you. Don't listen to that social media. Stand on the rock of all ages. Build your house, build your life off of scripture, build your faith off of the word of God. If you are in trouble tonight, get yourself a Bible, open up to Psalm 23, Psalm 91, and that beautiful book of Matthew 6, the Lord's Prayer, and read those beautiful prayers. Get that in your spirit. God will restore. God is with you through the shadow of life. He's with you in your fear. He's with you with your doubt. God is with you and He loves you. Don't ever give up. There is divine appointment in your life. If you've got emotional shadows, fears, doubts, worried, come to the cross of Calvary. Father, I thank you for everyone that's with me right now. Bless them from the crown of their head to the sole of their feet. May the Spirit of the Lord be revealed to
