Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you for every listener that's with us right now. Father, I thank you for those that have been with us from day one, and I thank you for those that are just listening to my voice for the first time. Let the love of God and the Holy Spirit rest over each and every one of you. Father, as we pray through, Lord, as we pray this prayer, Jesus, be near when fear rises quietly and my heart longs for your safety. Jesus, be near when fear rises quietly and my heart longs for your safety. Holy Spirit, we come to the cross. And Lord, we come to the scripture and we come to you right now, Lord. Father, at this hour, Lord, at this quiet hour, in the middle, dear God, in the middle of this hour, Father, we stretch out. Lord, we're tired, we're weary, we got fatigue, and Lord, we gotta find refuge.
We gotta find this place of rest. And Lord, as we pray through Psalm 91, verse 2, I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress. Lord, I thank you that you are our refuge and you are our fortress. But the corridor of life that we're walking down at the moment, Lord, is quite scary. Lord, the environment that we're moving in is quite, dear God, scary. Lord, the situations around the world, Lord, we are watching the news, we're listening to the channels. Father, from the radio to the news channels, Father, we are watching and listening things to things that we never thought that existed on planet earth. But Lord, they're right in our eyes. And Lord, it is really disturbing what we're seeing around the world. But Lord, you tell us through the holy word of God, this is what to be expected. And Lord, as we see and we listen to what the rhythm of the world is doing, Father, I pray that it will not trigger in each and every one of us, dear God, that fear
will arise. So, Father, I pray that you will close our ears and close our eyes to what is happening in the secular world, and you will open our hearts and open our minds to the word of God. Lord, we need you. Father, we need you in our lives like never before. Lord, we come to you and we come to the cross of Calvary, Lord, and we believe in miracles. And right now, Jesus, be near to me. When fear rises quietly, and my heart longs for your safety. Lord, wherever we are across the world, Lord, we gotta make the rhythm of the Word of God our life. Lord, we gotta make the rhythm of the voice of God.
Father, wherever we are, from the battles of life, Holy Spirit, we pray from the battles to the boardroom, from the boardroom to the bed, from the bed, dear God, to the school run. Whatever this hour is right now, we come to you, dear God, live here in London, England, all the way from London, all the way to Rio de Janeiro, all the way to Paul Paulo, all the way to Chicago, all the way to Mumbai and Brazil. Let the Spirit of the Living God carry each and every one of us wherever you are.
Don't ever give up. God is with you in your thoughts, in your life. He is your refuge, he is your fortress. The spirit of the Lord is over you. Never ever give up. Don't go too far. I'll catch you in two.
