Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself Reverend Ben Cooper recorded live here in London, England, where the world gathers for five minutes of faith, love, hope, and strength. The glory of God, the love of God is over your life, whatever the rhythm, whatever the circle, whatever the life the world is putting at your front door, I pray that God will give you peace. There might be storms brewing in our heart, there might be fears brewing in the skin that we walk in, but we got to remind ourselves one thing, and one thing is clear.
Nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus. We're praying out of the book of Psalms 91, verse 15. If you are worried, if you are scared, turn to Psalms 91 and read that and get that rhythm in your bones. Get that rhythm in your skin. Get that rhythm in your life. God is with you wherever you are. The love, the fire, the anointing, the power of God is in your life. We are praying straight out of Psalm 91, verse 15. And the title is Jesus, hear my cry tonight and calm the storm that moves inside of me.
Lord, the storm that moves inside of us today, this morning, whatever rhythm, whatever tribe, whatever tongue, whatever language, whatever corner of the world we come from, Lord, we need peace because Lord, there are storms brewing. Lord, there are storms in our lives. There are storms on the outside, there are storms internally, there are spiritual storms. Father, we realize that we are living in battles. Father, we are living, dear God, on the wasteland of life. And Father, whatever nation we live in, Lord, we pray for peace over the nation. We pray for calm over the nation. We pray for love over the towns, the villages. But right now, Jesus, hear my cry tonight. Jesus, hear the cry from the skin that I'm walking in. Father, we've just got back from a tough day. Lord, we've had a tough life. We've had a tough week. Lord, it has been gruesome. Lord, it has been grueling. Lord, we're tired. Our fingers are aching. Our feet are aching. Our backs are tired. Our muscles are crying out. Holy Spirit, we need you. Father, we pray against anxiety. We pray against fear. We pray against doubt. And Jesus, hear my cry tonight. Hear my cry because Lord, there's a calm storm that is about to explode in my life. Father, this storm is very dormant at the moment, but Lord, I feel the fear rising. Lord, the storm of fear, the storm of anxiety, the storm of uncertainty, the storm, dear God, that we're not sure of what it is brewing. But Lord, inside of us, many feel these storms just gently coming. Frustration, anger, bitterness, doubt, worry, all that sort of stuff. Remove it at the name of Jesus. Father, I pray that we will walk through the valley of the shadow of death. And Lord, I pray that we won't have any inner storms. Father, will you remove the fear and the worry and the doubt of life?
But we believe through the Psalm 91, verse 15, the prayers of David, he says, He will call upon me and I will answer him. Father, I thank you that you are our helper, you are our God, you are our king, and the rhythm of God is which we need at this hour. Lord, I thank you that you have not left us as orphans from the four corners of this world, from the battles, dear God, to the joy of life, to the fear of life, to the love of life, to the areas of life that we don't speak about. Those areas of fear, those areas of doubt. Lord, we put our church teeth in, we smile and we say yes, sir. Father, we put our church teeth in and we say yes, Pastor, all is well. I've had a great week in the name of Jesus. But little does he know. We've been through the valley, we've been through the trials, but we're too scared to mention it. Holy Spirit, I pray that we will be authentic, we will be true. And when someone says, How are you? Go, I'm here by the grace of God. And you don't know what's happened to me, but God has saved me. I can't tell you what's happened to me today because if you knew it, you would realize that God has given me a miracle. So right now, Lord, as these storms are brewing, as these fears are brewing, Lord, quieten that storm in our spirit. Lord, remove it. Lord, as we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we will fear no evil. For you are with us, your rod and your staff. But you tell us through the prayers of David. Psalm 91, verse 15, he will call upon me and I will answer him. Father, that's good
enough for me. Wherever you are, scattered across this world, from the battlefield to the boardroom, to the commute run, to the field of life. Come on, let's lock down, let's scrum down together, let's hold it tight, because the Spirit of the Lord is over your life. Never ever give up, whatever tribe, whatever tongue, whatever city, whatever nation, whoever you are, wherever you are, don't live our lives by emotions, let's live our life by faith. Father, from the four corners of the world to London, all the way to El Salvador, all the way from El Salvador to Miami, all the way from Miami to Brazil. Father, we pray for an outpouring of your spirit right now over every tribe, every tongue, every nation, every house, every valley. Oh my good God, the spirit of the Lord is with you.
