Anchored In Psalm 23

We are in Psalm 23. It is 11 pm. It is almost one minute past 11 live here in London, England on this Monday evening, the 23rd of February. What are you

Timeless Relevance Of Prayer

doing? What's your life look like? Are you tired? Are you weary? God is with you wherever you are. If you're live right now, listening to my voice, the love of God is with you. If you listen to this a week, a year later, whenever you listen to these prayers, they are relevant. They are relevant every second, every heartbeat. It doesn't matter of the time, it doesn't matter if we don't listen at the time I say it is. That is irrelevant because prayer is prayer. Come on, these are just guides, these are just foundational points where we build off and we launch

Praying Through The Valley

from. So let's pray out of Psalm 23, verse 4. Jesus, walk with me through the valley and lift my eyes towards the hope of tomorrow. Lord, I thank you that there is hope on the horizon. I thank you, Father, that the sun has dropped on our lives today. Lord, and the sun is rising on the other side of the world. Father, we thank you that the sun is alive and his name is Jesus. But Lord, I thank you, dear God, for the weather system of life. I thank you for the trials of life. I thank you, dear God, for the four seasons of life, the four weather seasons of life. I thank you for the valleys of life. I thank you, dear God, for the mountaintop experiences. I thank you, Lord, for life itself. Because no matter where I walk, how I walk, whatever corridor I go down, Lord, it doesn't matter if I'm stuck on the traffic jam of life. It doesn't matter if I made a wrong turn, if I've said the wrong thing, if I've reacted out of the line of the word, it doesn't matter because God, you draw us back. And I thank you, dear God, that you're drawing all of us in, that we're all sinners saved by grace. But wherever we are as we walk through the darkest valley, I pray for those that are scared at

this moment. Those, dear God, that feel really fearful of the history, of the present, and of what the future may bring. I pray for those that are scared, what lies ahead of them. I pray for those, dear God, that are worried about their now, what is happening right now in situations. I pray for anyone, Lord, that is worrying about history, that what someone might say about the valley that we walked in before. Lord, we're not worried about what people bring back. We're not worried about what people say, because Lord, we come to the conclusion through the Word of God that Jesus Christ, through the power of salvation and at the cross of Calvary, has nowed everything and it is finished. So, Father, I pray that we won't listen to the drumbeat

of the world. Father, wherever we are from the four corners of the world, all the way to Brazil, all the way from Brazil to Mumbai, from Mumbai, all the way to Delhi, all the way to Peru, and all the way back to sunny London. Father, we pray for an outpouring of your spirit. Lord, we might be in a deep valley, but there's always living hope. There is the light of Jesus Christ. You are the light of the world and all the hurdles that we face, all the valleys and the trials, Father, from the battlefield to the skirmishes, Lord, to the battle fatigue, for the emotional wearing, Lord, on our spirit. Lord, I thank you that you are the light

of the world. And I thank you, Lord, as we walk through the valley of uncertainty, you are with each and every one of us. So, Father, from the battlefield to the field of life, to the school run, wherever we are at this moment, to the Passover table. Lord, we might be jumping in bed, we might be getting out of bed. We might be climbing in the van, climbing out the van. Lord, we might be in an aircraft. We might be on a walk. We might be taking the dogs for a walk in the fields. We might be, dear God, sitting indoors, contemplating life. We might be in the rhythm of the commute run. Wherever we are, the spirit of God is with you. Don't ever give up. Jesus Christ loves you. From the battlefield to the valley, from the valley to the mountain, from the mountain to the glory of God. We are born again. We are spirit-filled. It doesn't matter where we walk, it doesn't matter because the enemy is under our feet, and Jesus Christ is the light of

our salvation. Wherever you are, have a great evening, have a great day. Be blessed and remember who you are in Jesus. You are born again, spirit filled, and God loves you. We will catch you soon. Don't go too far.
