Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, recorded live here in London, England, where the world gathers for faith, hope, love, and strength. Good morning, good evening, good afternoon. We are in the rhythm. The sun has risen over the UK. Wherever you are, the love of God is in your life. If you're on the other side of the globe, it is your hour to get some rest wherever you are. Jesus Christ is with us from the first sunrise to the last sunrise of our day. Whatever is going on, whatever the rhythm, whatever the drive, whatever the heartbeat that we are doing, good morning, good evening, good afternoon. The love of Jesus Christ is with you. Without
further ado, we're jumping back into Psalm 91, verse 5. And the title of this prayer is very easy and very simple. Jesus, guard my thoughts as the day opens and strengthen me inside. Holy Spirit, guard my thoughts as the day opens and strengthen me inside. Father, we thank you that Psalm 91, verse 5 is for each and every one of us. And Lord, wherever we are, from the battlefield to the boardroom, to the field of life, to every situation, whatever valley, whatever trial, Father, we thank you that you keep us on the potter's will. Lord, that you're shaping us, your molding us. Lord, you're blending us into the scripture. Holy Spirit, I thank you, Lord, that we know who we are in Christ Jesus. And Lord, we thank you for this prayer of protection. We thank you for Psalm 91, verse 5.
Jesus, as this day opens up and thoughts begin to move quickly, Father, I pray that my mind will settle. Guard my inside, Lord, help me in the name of Jesus Christ. Lord, as the pressure of the day starts to rise like a volcano, Lord, help me for the things I cannot see that are coming down the line of life, through the corridor of life. Lord, I pray that my mood will not shape me, but my faith will shape me. My emotions won't shape me, but the word of God will shape me. And today, Lord, Father, Lord, as we get out of the bed, as we kick the duvet off, Lord, we pray that the fire, that the love, the mercy of God, and the goodness of Jesus Christ will come. Lord, that there will be a great awakening in our spirit, that we will see the goodness of God. Holy Spirit, wherever we are gathering, whatever the rhythm, whatever the trial, whatever the situation we're going through, Lord, I pray that you will guard my thoughts as the day opens up. Strengthen me inside.
Father, from the battlefield to the boardroom, to the shopping trolley, from the shopping trolley to the field of life, to the school run, to the commute, wherever we are. Father, as we get out of the front door, Lord, as we get in the rhythm of life, Lord, as we've got dress, Lord, as we put our clothes on, Spirit of the living God, we comb our hair, we put our makeup on, we put our lipstick on. Lord, we get the bag ready for work. Lord, we put the kids in the car, Lord, whatever we are doing in the circle of life. Lord, we believe in the power of God. And right now we want to fill the rhythm. And Jesus, guard my thoughts as the day opens up and strengthen me inside. Lord, the battles, the fears, the worries, the doubts. Holy Spirit, I pray
from whatever corner of the world that we are, right here from live in London, England, all the way to France, all the way to Brazil, Peru, Holy Spirit, all the way to America, South America, Lord, let the love of God be around every town, every village. Lord Jesus, come, come in your fullness right now. Lord, we want to fill the rhythm of God. We want to capture the heartbeat of the Lion of Judah. Lord, you are El Shaddaih, you are Jehovah Jirah, you are Shalom. Lord, let there be peace today over our lives. Lord, let peace reign. But whatever trial, whatever battle,
whatever valley, whatever mountaintop experience we have, Father, feed us, strengthen us, carry us, and Lord, I thank you for the listeners. Wherever they are today, Jesus, guard my thoughts as the day opens and strengthen me inside. You are a good God. You are the great I am. You are the good shepherd, spirit of the living God. We thank you that Psalm 91, verse 5 is over our
lives. You will not fear the terror of night nor the arrow that flies by day. Jesus Christ is in your life. Never ever give up. I will catch you in two.
