Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself Reverend Ben Cooper recorded live here in London, England, where the world gathers for five minutes of faith, love, hope, and strength. If you've got a prayer request, please email us to the studio, which is info at dailyprayer.uk. What does your day look like? Wherever you are, we're right in
the middle. Holy Spirit, I pray for everyone that is listening to the sound of my voice, whatever time zone, however they listen to this, whatever time it may be. Lord, I thank you that whenever we listen and we pray together, it doesn't matter the time stamp on what I say, because God is with us and prayer is prayer, and wherever we are praying, Jesus Christ is in your
life. We're in Psalm 91, verse 11. We're staying in the rhythm of Psalm 91 for a while at this moment in time. We've done about six or seven days where we just prayed right the way through Psalm 91. We need this. When you look at the news, you look at the rhythm of life, you look at what's happening in the political agenda, what the world is doing. We need Psalm 91. It is protection, it is power, it is hope. Come on, let's pray.
Father, in the name of Jesus, God, guide my steps through this midday pressure. Jesus, guard my steps through this midday pressure and steady my heart. Holy Spirit, guide my steps through the midday pressure and steady my heart. Father, I thank you that there is a rhythm. There is the Holy Spirit in our lives. Father, we thank you that we are getting to scripture. We are getting in the word. We are getting in the rhythm of prayer. Father, we believe all things are possible to those who believe. And we believe that Psalm 91, verse 11 is alive and
well. For he will command these angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. Father, we thank you that angels have been deployed over all of our lives. Father, that you will guard us on the train commuting, that you will guard us, dear God, on the drive into work. You will guide us, dear God, in every route, every traffic jam, every journey, every step, every area of our lives. Father, we thank you that angels have been deployed over our lives, and the glory and the spirit and the love of Jesus Christ is with us.
So right now, Lord, in the middle of the day, Lord, as the sun has risen, as the sun is descending, Father, whatever battle, whatever trial from the four corners of the world, Holy Spirit, we thank you that there are angels that have been deployed over our lives because God cares for you. We can't escape the fact that Jesus Christ loves us, that we are born again, spirit-filled, blessed and highly favored, believers, braggadocious believers in Christ Jesus, whatever the rhythm, whatever the trial, whatever the valley, whatever the situation, Jesus, right here as the middle of the day rishes in my lap, Lord, lift the weight. Lord, I thank you that you are lifting the weight. Lord, I thank you that you are helping to me to make decisions, dear God, as the uncertainty of life that lies before me. Lord, life is full of complex situations. And Lord, I pray right now, Lord, that things will get dealt with. Those things, Holy Spirit, those things in our head, that stuff in our life. Lord, we need it all dealt with right now. So we come to the cross of Calvary and we believe in miracles. Spirit of the living God, I thank you that there is power in the greatest name in heaven and earth. But Lord, keep us steady. Lord, keep us steady. Lord, we want to hear the line of Judah. We want to feel the love of God and we believe in healing.
Right now, Lord, fear is gone, doubt is gone, from the battlefield to the boardroom, from the boardroom to the lunch run, from the lunch run to the coffee run, dear God, to pick the kids up, drop the kids off in the school, in the rhythm, dear God, whatever we are doing in the field of life, to the golf course to the washing machine, from the washing machine to the now bar, from the now bar all the way to the barbers. Lord, whatever we are doing in the traffic jam of life, we believe that you have come.
And you have come that we would have life and have it to the full. John 10 10 is for you as we pedal out of this prayer. I have come that you may have life and have it to the full. Father, help us to make decisions, give us divine protection, and Lord, I thank you that there is abundant life in the name of Jesus. Wherever you are, don't give up. I'll catch you in two.
