We have hit that time. You might be tired, you might be weary. It is later in the day. Emotional weariness. We've come through the battle of work, the battle of school, the battle of life, the battle of family, the battle of just being a human being. Sometimes, Jesus, we get exhausted just thinking about life itself. Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray that the love of God will descend on every human being, everyone under the sound of my voice. Lord, as the evening rhythm starts to accelerate. Father, we've just got in from work. We're still commuting back. Lord, we're at work. Whatever the time zone is, Jesus, in our lives, whatever the rhythm and the walk of our life looks like, Father Jesus, we come to you.
Hold my heart in this evening hour. Hold my heart in this evening hour and renew strength I have spent today. Lord, the strength and the energy, Lord, that we've used today. Lord, I pray right now that the love of God and the fire of God, Lord, the energy that we've spent today, Lord, we're exhausted, we're weary, we feel a little bit gritty and we're not quite sure. Lord, I need to be recovered. Lord, you gotta recover us, you gotta protect us, you gotta carry us. But Jesus, wherever we are across the world, Father, we need to feel the love, the mercy, the saving grace of our God and our King. And right now, Jesus, fill our hearts with joy, fill our hearts with the mercy, the favor of God. We thank you that the power of God is over our lives. And wherever we are situated, whatever the rhythm, whatever the drive, whatever life looks like, Lord, we come to you. Jesus, hold my heart in this evening hour and renew the strength I've spent out today. Lord, we've spent a lot out today. Lord, we've been on the battlefield of the text. We've been on the battlefield of work. We've been on the battlefield, dear God, of emails. We've been on the battlefield of life. Father, Lord, it's been tough at school, it's been tough at education with the family, the friends, looking after people, carrying this, doing that, the shopping, the school run, life run, Lord, the circle of life. Today, Lord, we are tired. Holy Spirit, I pray, hold my heart in the evening hour and renew the strength I've spent today.
Holy Spirit, I thank you that Psalm 91, verse 14 is for each and every one of us. Because he loves me, I will rescue him. I will protect him. Right now, Lord, we need rescuing. Lord, our lives need unraveling. Holy Spirit, we thank you for Romans 8.26. The Spirit helps us in our weakness. Lord, I just want to ponder on that a moment through prayer. Lord, I just want to hold it fast in that scripture. Lord, I thank you that the Spirit helps us in our weakness. I thank you that the Holy Spirit is with us in every given situation.
Wherever we are across the world, Father, we pray that the fire, the anointing, and the love of God, whatever corner of the world we live, whatever drumbeat we we walk, Father, we pray that we won't bounce according to the way of the world. We won't conform to the pattern of the world. Lord, we won't engage in social media. We won't engage in the political drive. We won't listen to the news channels. Father, we will listen to the Lion of Judah.
You are the great I am. You are Jehovah. You are King of Kings and Lord of Lords. You are the coming King. You are the great I Am. You are the good shepherd. And Father, today, Holy Spirit, hold my heart in the evening hour and renew the strength I have spent today. Father, we've spent out today. And Lord, as this evening starts to progress, wherever we are across the world, Father, cover us in the love of God and protect us
in the greatest name in heaven and earth. May the Lord carry you. And Romans 8 26, as we pedal out of this prayer, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. The Spirit helps us in our weakness. Don't go too far. I'll catch you at the next prayer.
