Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, recorded live here in London, England. Wherever you are across the world, what's your day been like today? How you feeling? You know, we're reaching that hour. You know, just a couple of hours out of midnight here live in London, England. The Spirit of God is with you. It is 10 p.m. The love of Jesus Christ is over our lives. How are you feeling? Good morning, good evening, good afternoon. But if you're with me live here in London, England, it is 10 p.m. Just cruising past, just almost one minute past 10.
The love of God is over all of our lives, whatever your tribe, whatever your colour, whatever your tongue, whatever your language, whoever you are, I've got to remind you that we don't need church. We don't need me. You don't need Pastor Ben. You don't need the rhythm of your denomination. You don't need anything that the world is offering. What you need and what we require and what we have is Jesus Christ. We have Jesus Christ. He is the first, he is the last. He is the great I am. He is your good shepherd. He's with you right now.
You are tired, you are weary. Lord, will you rejoice, dear God, or will you renew? Sorry, will you renew that joy, my spirit? Lord, will there be gentle healing tonight, Lord? We're tired, we're weary. We've been speaking all day, Lord. We've been at work all day, Lord. We've got battle fatigue, Lord. We're tongue-tied, we're exhausted, we're weary. The kids, dear God, we've got loads to do with the children, the family life, the circle of life, the cleaning, the washing, dear God, the commute run, the school run, just life itself, Father. At this hour, Jesus, restore my joy tonight. Jesus, restore my joy tonight and pour peace over the place that still feels troubled. Holy Spirit, that place, that place, Lord, that is lingering, that place, dear God, that is just festering at this moment, that place at this moment. Father, I pray that you will pour peace over that heart that is troubled. I pray that you will wipe the tears of those that are crying. Lord, I pray for those that are crying and they don't know why they're crying, for those that are scared and don't know why they're scared, those that are worried and don't know why they're worried. Those, dear God, that keep having anxiety moments. Father, I pray for mental health at this hour, that mental health will be restored. Lord, I pray that the joy of the Lord will be so powerful tonight.
Lord, I pray, whatever the time zone is, whatever the rhythm, whatever the four corners of the world that we are, from here live in London, England, all the way to Canada, from Canada, Toronto to Brazil, all the way, dear God, to Oslo, from Oslo to Amsterdam, from Amsterdam to Israel. Lord, we are praying, dear God, for peace. Lord, restore my joy tonight. Restore my joy at this hour. Restore the joy in our hearts right now. Lord, we need joy, Lord. We need the power of the Lord. You tell us, dear God, in the book of Nehemiah, that the joy of the Lord is our strength. So, Father, we pray that that joy will come in like a river. That joy will come in like a flood.
Lord, I thank you for Psalm 91, verse 16. With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation. Father, I thank you that salvation is a gift from God. And salvation doesn't come from church, it doesn't come from religion, it comes from the eternal God. And I thank you, dear God, that you have dropped salvation in the spirit, in our hearts, in our mind, in our body and our soul. Lord, that we are children of the living God. But wherever we are, whatever rhythm we're at at this moment, Jesus, restore my joy tonight. Pour peace over the place that's still troubled. Lord, those areas of trouble, I pray that they will be raised
tonight in the name of Jesus. Lord, whatever the rhythm, whatever the time is, wherever we are, from the battlefield to the boardroom, bring peace, we pray, in the greatest name in heaven and earth. God bless you. Wherever you are, I will catch you at the next prayer. Don't go too far.
