You might be getting ready for work right now on the other side of the world. Whenever you listen to these prayers, it's okay. Yes, we timestamp them. Yes, I mentioned the day. Yes, I mentioned the hour, but it doesn't matter when we listen. We can go backwards and forwards, we can go in and out because prayer is prayer. The Spirit of God is over each and every one of
us. We're praying out of Psalm 91, verse 15. Jesus, Jesus, hear my cry tonight. Jesus, hear my cry tonight and bring calm to the storm still moving inside of me. Holy Spirit, Lord, we go to church, we live our lives, Lord. We believe in the word of God. Lord, we know that we are Bible-believing believers, and we thank you for Psalm 91, verse 15. He will call upon me and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. Lord, we know what the word says. And sometimes, Lord, this storm still grows inside. Lord, we've been to church today. Lord, we've been in the rhythm of the word. Lord, we've read our daily bread today. Lord, we've got in the scripture. We've been in worship. We've been praying. Lord, we've been in the car. We've been in the traffic jam singing the name of Jesus Christ. We've lifted our hands and we've worshiped you today. But Lord, there is still a storm moving inside of me. Lord, we've been to church today. Lord, and it was a great message. Lord, the worship was good. Lord, but there is still a storm brewing inside of me. Lord, I've been at work today, Lord, and I've been busy today, but Lord, there is still a storm inside
of me. Lord, I'm at the bus stop right now. Lord, I've just been reading the word. I've been praying with Pastor Ben. Lord, I've listened to worship this morning on the commute run. But Lord, there is still a storm moving inside of me. Holy Spirit, Lord, I don't want these feelings. Lord, I don't want these uncertainty, these areas of life. Father, where I've been worshiping, I've been praying. I've been lifting up the name of Jesus. But Lord, suddenly out of nowhere, my mind, my thinking takes me off to a valley experience. Lord, there is still a storm moving inside of me. Lord, I know we're born again. I know we're spirit-filled. I know we're blessed and highly favored. But Lord, hear this battle cry. Lord, there are storms, dear God, that are moving in our lives. There are storms that are in a gentle progression. And Lord, we want calm right now. Lord, we need peace. Lord, we claim peace. We speak peace. We believe in peace. We walk in peace. We live in peace. But right now, Lord, there is, dear God, a storm that is just rattling this cage. Lord, there is a storm that is rattling the skin that I walk in. Holy Spirit, come to us tonight, whatever
the hour, whatever the moment, whatever the notion, whatever the press forward is. Father, whatever we've gone through, whatever we're coming through, whatever life looks like. Jesus, hear my cry tonight. And dear God, bring calm to the storm that still starts to move inside of me. Lord, we believe that the battle belongs to the Lord. Father, this inner storm, Lord, this cry of our soul tonight. Lord, we need the calming love of Jesus. Lord, that you tell us that perfect love drives out all fear. Your love drives out all fear. But Lord, I still feel a gentle storm brewing. Lord, I love you and I go to church and I worship you and I pray and I lift up the name of Jesus. But Lord, I still feel the storm brewing. Lord, we're in the valley of the shadow of death and we know we're born again. We're spirit-filled, but Lord, I still feel a storm brewing. Lord, your word has spoken to me today. Lord, these prayers have lifted me today. But Lord, I still feel a storm brewing. Lord, will you help us? Lord, the battle cry. Lord, there is fatigue. We are tired. We are weary. We've had a busy
day. And Lord, as the night starts to drop in, and maybe as the morning starts to open up on our lives, Father, we pray wherever we are, from the battles to the four corners of the world, to Brazil, to Portugal, to Angola, to Mumbai, all the way to America and all the way to Australia. We pray, dear God, for the outer hemisphere that the love of God will radiate around the world. Spirit of the living God, wherever, dear God, we are at this hour, Lord, bring peace. You tell us through the beautiful book of Psalm 91, verse 15. He will call upon me and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. Don't go too far. Never give up. I'll catch you in two.
