Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself Reverend Ben Cooper recorded live here in London, England, where the world gathers for five minutes of faith, love, hope, and strength. It is that hour. It is the 11th hour. We're just gonna calm it, we're gonna call it a minute, we're just gonna take our time. I'll try and be a little bit more quiet at this hour. I know you're tired, I know you're weary because I am too. We've had a long day. It has been a long life, it's been a long week. You know, we're pressing, we're almost coming out of February, not too many days, and we'll be out of February already. Time is ticking away, and we're gonna pray
right now. But I want to say thank you to everybody for your support. Everybody that prays for us, everybody that supports this listener-funded ministry by buying us a coffee. You know, three pounds a month in the link. Hit that in the show notes below. And uh come on, we're gonna get straight
into prayer. We're praying, Jesus, stay close in the final hour of this day. Holy Spirit, we need you to stay close in the final hour of this day and lift my spirit into a quiet rhythm tonight. Jesus, stay close with me, Lord, as we're still driving home, dear God, on the other side of the world as we're driving in. Lord,
whatever we are doing, whatever rhythm we have at this moment, Lord, we got battle fatigue. Lord, I pray for those that are in a deep valley at this moment that they will see the light of God because Jesus says, I am the light of the world. And I pray that you will find courage, you will find hope, that you will know that your Redeemer lives, and because he lives, you can face tomorrow. And I pray for every listener that's with me right now. If they're listening with me at this second, or whether they're listening days or hours or years down the track of time, I pray, dear God, that you will carry them and bless them and they will be healed. I pray for those that have come through battles, dear God, that we can't even talk about. Fears, dear God, that are with us at this moment. Father, help us to leave our fears, the suitcases that we are carrying, the fears, the worries, the doubts, the
uncertainty. Lord, help us to get this rucksack off our back. And Lord, I don't have the strength and the energy to get this rucksack off. Lord, I feel, dear God, that it's embedded in my skin because we've been carrying stuff too long. And right now, Lord, will you get a pair of scissors and cut these straps, get this rucksack off my back? Because Lord, I'm not walking right. Lord, the pressure of this rucksack over the years has made me lean forward. And Lord, I gotta stand upright. I want to be bold, Lord. I want to put my chest out and stand upright. Lord, we want to walk strong in the name of Jesus. Lord, these weights, these rucksacks, dear God, these suitcases of worry, suitcases
of fear. Lord, we're carrying our history, and right now at the close of this prayer, I pray, dear God, from the four corners of the world, from every battle of life, every storm and everything we're going with, Lord, I thank you for Psalm 91, verse 15, because this is what God says. He will call upon me and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. Sister and brother, get yourself a Bible. Open to Psalm 91, verse 15. He will call upon me, and I will answer him, and I will be with him in trouble.
Father, for everyone that's in trouble, troubled mind, troubled physically, troubled at work, at school, at life, in the rhythm of whatever we are doing. Father, if we're mentally troubled, whatever situation we're in, bring peace to our hearts right now. The glory of God is over your life. Do not ever, ever give up. Jesus Christ is with you. Don't go too far. You know, I will catch you extremely soon. Don't go too far. As I said, we are almost at the next prayer. God is with you. May the Spirit of the Lord be over your life. I will catch you at the next prayer.
