The title of this prayer is very easy. It is Jesus. Hold my heart in the quietness of the midnight hour and cover me with peace I cannot give myself. Jesus, hold my heart in the quiet hour and cover me with peace I cannot
give myself. Father, in the name of Jesus, Lord, at this hour we come to you right now, live here in London, England, from the four corners of the world. We pray, dear God, for the love of God, that your spirit, your mercy, look, we will dwell in the shelter of the Most High. Lord, that we will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Father, we want to dwell in that secret place. Lord, at this hour, wherever we are, whatever the rhythm of life, whatever our situations look like, Lord, we come to you right now and we say, Jesus, draw us to the cross of Calvary. Lord, I thank you that you give us peace. Peace that the world cannot give us. Lord, we come to you right now. Tired, weary, exhausted, sleeping, not sleeping. Lord, at this midnight hour, Lord, at these early doors, Father, we pray right now as the noise of the day fades away.
And Lord, as the quietness falls onto our lives, Father, we don't like the quietness too much because Lord, our mental health starts ticking. Our mind starts ticking, and Lord, we start thinking and ticking of things and possiblies and the maybes. Holy Spirit, I pray, Lord, that you will capture our thoughts. We pray for mental health right now. We pray for fear and doubt and for panic. Lord, we pray at this midnight hour that the love of God will be our shelter, that you will bring peace. Lord, I pray that you will quieten our thoughts. Lord, that you will give us, dear God, such a lovely peace over our lives. Lord, we want to walk in the word. We want to walk in your presence. Holy Spirit, hold us close. Lord, we thank you that the rhythm of God is in our lives, that you are the Lion of Judah.
From the four corners of the world, right here, live in London, England, all the way to Brazil, all the way to Portugal, all the way to Angola. Lord, we pray for Argentina. We pray, dear God, for Peru, that the love of God will just filter through every nation, every tribe, every tongue, whatever battle, whatever field we are walking in, Lord, whatever field we're working in, whatever area of life we're in, we pray for the love of God. Lord, that we will dwell in that secret place, that we will rest in that secret place, that the love of God will be so strong that your presence, your mercy, your saving grace, Father, we believe in miracles. We believe in the power of God.
And right now, Lord, we want to stretch out, Lord, across the table of life. Lord, we want to stretch out and say, Jesus, will you carry me? Lord, we don't want to be crimped up. We don't want to be crushed up. Lord, we want to stretch out and we want to say, Holy Spirit, as we stretch out across the table of hope, as we stretch out across life itself, Lord, we say thank you. Thank you, Holy Spirit.
At this hour, dear God, bring quietness, bring peace to the rhythm of our lives from the four corners of the world, to the battlefields, to the boardroom, to the skirmishes, to the war trenches of life. Holy Spirit, will you carry us right now? We need your love and we need your glory. We need that power over our lives.
In the name of Jesus, I pray that you will find peace wherever you are. Never give up. I will catch you at the next prayer. Don't go too far.
