Wherever you are, we're gonna jump straight into prayer. It is 6 p.m. and whatever the drive is, whatever the situation is, we are in. And the title of this prayer is very beautiful, and it's Jesus, meet me in the evening hour. Jesus, meet me in the evening hour, and restore the strength by lost trying to hold everything together today. Lord, we've been trying to hold everything together, and Lord, these hands are tired, this mind is weary, our backs are aching, our bones are gone. Holy Spirit, Lord, I thank you that we are here praying together. I thank you that we are standing together. I thank you that we are walking together, but Lord, we are trying to balance too much. Lord, we're trying to hold everything together. Lord, we are run down, we are tired, we're crying, we're emotional, we're lost, we're found.
Lord, we have lost the rhythm, and Lord, we have also lost our understanding on many things because we're trying to hold too much together. Lord, we've even lost ourselves, we've even lost our emotions because we're trying to hold everything together. And Lord, we cannot hold everything together. Lord, our grip is starting to go. Lord, our body, dear God, is tired. We are weary, we are exhausted. Lord, I pray right now for the love of God that we will not hold everything together. Lord, that we will release everything in our hands, Lord, that we will stretch out our hands at this hour and we'll say, Jesus, meet me in this evening hour and restore the strength. Because Lord, we feel zapped, we feel exhausted. And from the four corners of the world, from here in London, England, all the way to Bogota, from Bogota all the way to Colombia, from Colombia to Peru, to Canada to America, to Israel. Lord, we are looking for love and mercy and your saving grace.
And right now, Lord, we walk in Psalm 91, verse 14. Lord, we need this strength restored. We need this hope restored. And right now, the Bible says, Because he loves me, says the Lord, I will rescue him, I will protect him. Lord, we need your protection, we need your love. Lord, we got to hear the lion of Judah. Lord, we are hearing the world extremely loud and bold. And right now, Lord, we want to feel the quietness of Jesus. We want to hear the lion of Judah. We want to hear the rhythm of heaven. Father, we want to hear the angels crying and singing, holy, holy is the Lord, most worthy of all praise.
But Lord, as we're on the commute home right now, as we're getting the children ready for bed, Lord, as we're cooking the food, as we're in the supermarket, as we're shopping and tidying up, hoovering right now, Lord, as we are just living the circle of life, Lord, I pray for peace wherever we are, from the battlefield to the boardroom, from the boardroom to the field of life. Lord, at this hour, at this moment, at this millisecond, Lord, I pray that we'll rise on wings as of all eagles. And Lord, I believe in the power of God. And Lord, I thank you that Jesus Christ is my Lord and my redeemer.
And right now, Lord, Father, I thank you for the book of Matthew 11, 28. Come to me. All of you are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Lord, there is something that we got to declare. Lord, we need rest. Lord, we need rest right now. Lord, the day has been heavy, the night feels long. And Lord, at this hour, restore the strength that I lost today trying to hold everything together. Lord, I pray for those weary hands. I pray for those broken hearts. I pray, dear God, for those minds that are just overloaded, that are tired and exhausted.
I pray, Lord, that the rhythm of God, that the power of the Holy Spirit, Lord, that these thoughts, dear God, these thoughts that we have in our head of trying to hold everything together, Lord, we're balancing too much. We're doing too much. And Lord, I pray for peace from the battlefield to the boardroom, to the boardroom to the field of life. Whatever the rhythm of your walk is, Jesus Christ is with you. Never ever give up. I will catch you in just a few moments. Hold on to Jesus Christ.
He is your redeemer. He is your coming king. He is the great I am. I'll catch you at the next prayer. God bless.
