Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself Reverend Ben Cooper recorded live here in London, England, where the world gathers for five minutes of faith, love, hope, and strength. If you've got a prayer request, you can email us to the studio, which is info at dailyprayer.uk.
And thank you to everybody who supports this ministry through prayer and for sowing a seed into this listener-funded ministry. Everybody on I'll be Christian Radio. Good evening, good afternoon, good morning, wherever you are. If you are a listener that has stayed with us from the very beginning of time, right back at the early doors of lockdown. And to whoever may be a first-time listener right now, wherever you are across the world, lock in with us, stay with us. But thank God for your life. Jesus Christ is over your life. Do not ever, ever
give up. These are quick-fired commuter prayers, and we're going to press right in and we are going to pray a simple prayer, which is Jesus. Hear my cry tonight. Jesus, hear my cry tonight and calm the storm that still moves beneath these quiet moments. Lord, there is a storm. I don't like, dear God, what type of wave it could become. Lord, it's a gentle storm at this moment. Lord, it's a gentle wave, but Lord, it's rocking the boat of my life. Lord, and as we live and as we move and as we progress through this story of our life, Holy Spirit, I pray from the four corners of this world, Lord, as this gentle wave is starting to rock my boat. Lord, as this wave is starting to get a little bit stronger, Lord, as we approach the evening. Holy Spirit, I pray that this wave, this storm, won't break out to a full tsunami. Holy Spirit, I pray that you will take this wave away, that you will take this gentle rock of this boat away. Holy Spirit, I pray, dear God, that you will clear our mind through. You will clear our heart through. And Lord, from the four corners of this world, all the way from here in live in London, England, to America, to Portugal, to Mozambique, all the way, dear God, to Miami, right back to Australia and Israel. Lord, we are looking for an outpouring of
your spirit. We're looking for mercy. We're looking for grace. We're looking for favor. Lord, and I believe as we pray through Psalm 91, verse 15, he will call upon me. Let's just take a moment. We're in prayer. He will call upon me, and I will answer him. Holy Spirit, Lord, you're telling us that you're gonna answer us. Lord, you're writing this word to us. Lord, you're writing the scripture from Genesis to Revelation to the human race. And right now, Lord, we understand that we have not written anything to the divine, but the divine has written to the human race. And right now, Lord, you are saying that when we call upon you out of the book of Psalms 91, verse 15, when we call to you, you will answer and I will be with him in trouble. Father, right now, there's a gentle storm that is rumbling and moving this vessel that I'm assailing in.
Lord, there's a gentle storm on social media. There's a gentle storm in the family. There's a gentle storm at work. There's a gentle storm inside of me that I have been bringing up through my history, right to my very present. Lord, this gentle storm that is moving. Holy Spirit, I pray that you will take this storm and you will remove this storm. Lord, this wave that is gently rocking this boat of mine. Lord, this storm that is starting to brew. Lord, I thank you that it's not going to break out into a full, dear God, weather system on my life. I thank you that the power of God, the love of God, there is favor over our lives, from the battlefield to the boardroom, from the boardroom to the field of life, to every sunset, to every sun going down. As the sun rises, as the sun sets on our lives, whatever the rhythm, whatever the breath, whatever the panic, whatever the fear, whatever the joy, whatever situation, Lord, I pray, Jesus, hear my cry tonight. Lord, hear the cry of our heart. Lord, we're smiling and it looks okay. But Lord, there is a cry deep in the skin that we're walking in. Holy Spirit, I pray, Lord, you will take our history, you will take our present, and Lord, I ask you right now that we will realize that everything
is at the cross of Calvary. But right now, Lord, this storm, Father, this wave that is gently rocking the rhythm of my life. Father, from the battlefield to the boardroom, to the field of life, to the rhythm of life, to the storms of life, to the outward storms, to the inner battles. Father, I pray that you will deal with the mental capacity that we have. And Lord, gently, gently bring us to a place of peace. I thank you for every listener, for everyone that is with me from the four corners of the world. May the Spirit of the Lord be with you. Don't ever give up. God is with you. I'll catch you in two.
