Good morning, good afternoon, and good evening. What rhythm are you walking right now? How are you feeling? I hope and I pray all is well in your life. But no doubt we're in some valleys at this moment. No doubt we're facing the brick walls. No doubt we are in storms. But Jesus Christ is with us wherever we are, whatever the rhythm, however you're feeling right now, we're gonna jump straight into
prayer. We're in the rhythm of Psalm 91, verse 16, and the title of this prayer is Jesus. Quiet my thoughts tonight. Jesus, quiet my thoughts and renew the joy that is faded somewhere, that has disappeared. Lord, I pray that the joy of the Lord shall be our strength. Lord, it's been a noisy old day today. Lord, the enemy has been barking. The enemy, dear God, has been growling. The world has been making a major noise in my face. Lord, there's been trouble at work, there's trouble at home, there's trouble in the commute run. Lord, there's trouble at school, there's trouble in church and ministry. Lord, it feels like, Lord, I've come through a battle today, and Lord, I've got fatigue. Lord, I've got battle fatigue. I'm weary and I'm tired. And Lord, the sun has dropped in the UK right now, Lord, and Father,
as darkness comes in like a blanket. Holy Spirit, I pray, Lord, that you will light up this dark place that we're in. Lord, that you will light up this room with your love, your mercy, your saving grace. Lord, from the four corners of the world, I pray that the love of God will be over our lives, whatever tribe, whatever rhythm, whatever area of life we're walking from, dear God, I pray from what we're going from to what we're going to, what we're leaving and what we're going into, I pray that the love of God will be with us. Father, as those that are still on the commute, bless them. As those on the other side of the world are taking the children to school. Father, from the school run to the battlefields, from the battlefields to the shopping trolley. Holy Spirit, I pray wherever we are, we pray for all those that are cooking right now. Lord, that those that are preparing for the family to come home. We pray for those that, dear God, feel lonely on their own at this moment. We pray for those that are scared, those that are going to hospital right now, those, dear God, that are in prison, we pray for those that are in prison that you will bring freedom to their lives. Father, that you help us in our mental health, that you will strengthen us, Lord, all the rhythms of the human beings under the sound of my voice. I pray as we crisscross countries, as we crisscross the world, dear God, road system, commute systems, systems of the world, fathers, we just live our lives. I pray, dear God, right now at this hour, Lord, as we're tired, as we're weary, my voice is tired, Lord, my lips are tired, Lord, my mind
is tired. Even praying is prayer, spirit of the living God, lift us up, Lord, because there is a noise that is still going on, and it is the residue of the day. Lord, it feels like the lava, dear God, of a volcanic, dear God, eruption. Lord, that lava that keeps it flowing. Lord, I pray as this lava keeps flowing, as everything keeps flowing, Holy Spirit, Lord, I pray right now for that volcanic ash, that fallout from that trouble, from that situation. But Jesus, acquire my thoughts. Holy Spirit, bring joy back. Holy Spirit, bring your goodness back. Lord, we thank you that you never leave us nor forsake us. But Lord, sometimes, Lord, it feels like we've had everything we've drawn out of the skin. Sometimes at these hours, Lord, it is so difficult. Sometimes we're so tired we can't string a prayer together. Sometimes we can't string a sentence together. Sometimes we're exhausted because of the day. So Lord, I pray right now as the sun has gone over the UK, as the sun is rising on the other side of the world, whatever the battlefield, whatever the trial, whatever the situation we've come from, Lord, we believe that the Psalms are for us right now. And as we hold it, as we walk it, as we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, Lord, we believe that Psalm 91, 16 is for each and every one of us. With long life, would I satisfy him and show him my salvation? Lord, that's enough for me. That is enough for me just to know that I'm saved.
So Lord, I pray that you will remove the panic, you will remove the fear, and you will remove the stress. Lord, just remind us that we are born again, spirit filled, Bible believing believers. God bless you wherever you are. We're tired, we're weary, but God is with us. I'll catch you soon. Don't go too far.
