News Turmoil And Turning To God

England. Wherever you are, everything is breaking out across the news. We are watching these uh screens here in the studio. Things are happening that we never thought we'd see in this lifetime that we live. But the glory of God and the love of Jesus Christ is over our lives, and without further ado, we're going to deliver this prayer. And whatever the hour is, whatever the rhythm, whatever crisis you are going through, I want to encourage you right now that Jesus Christ has you at this

midnight hour. And the title of this prayer is coming out of Psalm 91, verse 1. Jesus, draw me into the shelter of midnight and hold my restless heart in a quiet place again. Holy Spirit, I pray that you will take our hearts. Lord, this restless heart, Father, this heart that is beating out of sync. This heart, dear God, that is wrestling life itself. Holy Spirit, wherever we are from the four corners of the world, we are praying for the love and the glory and the beauty of his majesty, Lord, to wrap us up. But Father, we stretch into the beautiful book of Psalms 91, verse 1. Whoever dwells, Father, we want to dwell. Lord, we want to rest. We want to sleep in the presence of the Almighty.

Rest In Scripture Not Noise

Father, we thank you that angels have then been deployed over our lives, that there is angelic activity, that the Spirit of the Lord is over our lives. And Father, wherever we are gathering at this hour, at this moment, at this rhythm of life, Lord, we pray for the love of God, the presence of God, the beauty of the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit will just carry us right now. But Jesus, draw me into the shelter of midnight and hold my restless heart in that quiet peace again. Father, we thank you that we're dwelling in the shelter of the Most High. And we're going to rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Father, I pray that we will keep the rhythm of prayer. Lord, that we will just lock into prayer and we will realize it's not church we need. It's not Reverend Ben Cooper we need. Lord, it's not the denomination we need. It is not the rhythm of social media we need. It is not the drumbeat, dear God, of church. It is not the drumbeat, dear God, of the political drive, social media. Lord, it is the rhythm of the word of God. So Lord, I pray that we will rest in scripture. Lord, that we will get ourselves a paperback version, Lord, that we will put our device down. We will leave the phone alone, Lord, and we will literally open up that paperback version of the Word of God, and we will read Psalm 91, Psalm 23, and Lord, that we will go into Matthew chapter 6, the Lord's

Global Intercession And Midnight Peace

Prayer. Our Father, we thank you that you are our Father. And right now across the world, Lord, we're expecting the anointing. We're expecting power. We're expecting the love of God. And whatever battle we're going through, whatever crisis we're going through, Lord, the inner storms, the outer storms, but right now, Lord, I pray that you will give us inner peace. Lord, that we will have peace at this midnight hour. Lord, that you will be our quiet shelter. Lord, that we will draw from deep rest at this moment. Lord, that we will be emotionally surrendered to the rhythm of God. And Father, wherever we are, whatever pattern, Lord, live here in London, England, all the way to Brazil, Portugal, Angola, Lord, all the way to America, Father, all the way through every area, every tribe, every tongue. Father, in the quietness, Lord, of the midnight hour. Holy Spirit, Lord, from the battlefield

to the boardroom, to the rhythm of life. Father, as we lay in bed right now, worried and scared about the hours that lie ahead. Lord, as we lay in bed, as we sit on the sofa, as we just try and get ourselves together, come, Holy Spirit, wherever you are, the Spirit
