Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, recorded live here in London, England, where the world gathers for five minutes of faith, love, hope, and strength. If you've got a prayer request, please email us to the studio, which is info at dailyprayer.uk. Come on, we're gonna jump straight into prayer. Are you tired?
Are you weary? You've had a long night and we're still up. It is 3 a.m. live here in London, England, and the love of God is over your life. And the title of this prayer is ever so easy and simple. It is Jesus, break the shadow that rises in the deep night and steady my heart with your presence. Holy Spirit, Lord, it is early. It is early right now, Lord. And Father, we are not sleeping well at all. And Lord, we ask you right now, through the rhythm of this dark night, Lord, that the shadow, dear God, of fear will go, that the shadow of doubt will go. Lord, break the shadow that rises in these deep nights. Holy Spirit, break the shadow.
Father, we thank you that as we pray through Psalm 91, verse 3, surely He will save you from the fowler snare and from the deadly pestilence. Holy Spirit, Lord, we got to dress ourselves correctly.
We got to be in the armor of God. Lord, we got to walk right. We got to live right. We got to move right. Spirit of the living God, I pray that we will put on the full armor of God, that we will be dressed in Ephesians chapter 6. But Lord, when we are dressed, ready for the battle of life, Father, the shadow that's over the armor that we are wearing. Holy Spirit, I pray right now that we will dress right, we will stand right, we will walk right. But Father, that we will be Bible-believing believers. Lord, that we won't come away from our belief, that we stand on the word of God, that there is healing through scripture, there is healing through worship. And right now, Lord Jesus, break the shadow that rises in the deep night. Holy Spirit, break
this shadow. Lord, I pray that you will take the shackles off, that you will take these chains off. Lord, that there will be freedom at the name of Jesus. Right now, Lord, at this early door. Father, as the sun is going to rise in a few hours from the battlefield to the boardroom. Holy Spirit, we pray, Lord, for whatever we are battling, whatever we are trialing, whatever we are going through. Holy Spirit, I pray that you will carry us right now. Lord, as we're sitting up in bed, we're sitting on the edge of the bed. Lord, we're sitting, dear God, in the garden. Lord, we're sitting
right now on the edge of the sofa. Lord, we don't know what to do with ourselves because Lord, we got a shadow, we got a weight over us. Lord, we need you to lift and to take this deep night feeling away from us. And Lord, we need a steady heart. I pray that your steady hearts right now, that there will be a beautiful rhythm of the Lion of Judah and from the four corners of the world, all the way to Brazil, from Brazil to Portugal, from Portugal to Angola to Mumbai to Chicago. Let the Spirit, let the power of God be over your lives. You are blessed and highly favored, wonderfully and fearfully made, and the Spirit of the Lord is
with you. Father, we thank you for the beautiful New Testament. We thank you that through 2 Corinthians chapter 12, verse 9, my grace is sufficient for you. For my power is made perfect in weakness. Lord, I don't know about anybody else across the world, but right now, Lord, I feel weak right now. Lord, I feel tired right now. My bones are aching, my back is aching. Lord, my ribs are tired, Lord, my feet are sore, my hands, dear God, are just aching. My mind is all over the
place. So Lord, right now, with the rhythm of this prayer, Spirit of the Living God, break the shadow that rises in the dark night and steady my heart with your presence. Lord, I pray that you will steady the heart of every listener across the world, from the battlefield to the sofa, from the sofa to the bed. Lord, I pray for this hour, Lord, this moment, Lord, this 3 a.m. hour, that the Spirit of the Lord will carry each and every one of us wherever you are. Don't ever give up. The Spirit of the Lord is
over your life. We're praying out of Psalm 91, verse 3. Surely he will save you from the fowlest snare and from the deadly pestilence. Yes, Lord, God is with you. Don't go too far. I will catch you at the next prayer.
