Turning To Psalm 91:5

SPEAKER_00

We're in Psalm 91, verse 5. And the title of this prayer is Jesus, calm my thoughts as the day builds and guard me from pressures I cannot see. Father, in the name of Jesus, we come to you in the greatest name in heaven and earth. And Lord, the sun has risen here live in London, England. The rain is on the studio window. But Lord, we thank you that the rhythm of heaven is in our heart. And right now, whatever we face today, Lord, as this day starts to build, Lord, as the tremors start to move in our heart. Father, as we're getting through to commute, Lord, as we've dropped the kit children off to school, Lord, we've done the school run, we've done the work run. Lord, we're already in work. We're in the meeting. We're listening to this and that. Spirit of the living God, we don't want to listen to this and that. Lord, we want to listen to the word of God. And Jesus, calm my thoughts as this day starts to build. Holy Spirit, I pray that the fire of God, that the love of God, Lord, guard me from the pressures that I cannot see at work. Guard me from the pressures that I cannot see that's coming down the track of life. Guard me from the pressures in the circle of the life that I move in. Lord, I thank you that the battle belongs to you. But right now, Lord, we thank you as we lean into Psalm 91, verse 5,

Praying Against Unseen Pressures

you will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, the arrow that the enemy has fired, the arrow that through text, through email, that arrow through word, that arrow through facial expressions from those at work. The spirit of the living God is with you. I pray that the atmosphere at work will be beautiful. I pray that the atmosphere at home will be amazing. I pray that wherever you are right now, the atmosphere, the presence of God will surround you and you will feel the love of Jesus Christ. If you're in the biggest battle of your life, hold on to the word of God. If you are going through trials and tribulations, the Spirit of the Lord is with you. He will give you peace. He says, I do not give as the world gives. He says, I give completely differently. Lord, let's call on the name today. Lord, we got to hear the line of Judah. Lord, we've got to get in the rhythm of the word. And Father, we thank you from the battlefield to the boardroom, from the boardroom to the field of life, from the field of life to the shopping trolley, from the shopping trolley to the barbers, from the barbers to their God, the Nalbar, from the Nalbar to the pedicure. Father, from the pedicure to the van to the car, to the bus stop, to the field, Lord, whatever we are doing in the rhythm of this day, Lord, we thank you that we are bloodwashed, sanctified. We are children of the living God. And right now we come to the greatest name in heaven and earth. And right now, Lord, we want to fill the fire. Lord, the sun has risen on our lives, Lord, and wherever we are scattered across the world, whatever the trial, whatever the tribulation, Father, the battle belongs to the Lord. Lord, we're going to let you know right now.

The Battle Belongs To The Lord

SPEAKER_00

We're going to tell you, Jesus, right now, face to face, Lord, the battle belongs to you. Lord, this is not my battle. This is not my arena. Lord, you are the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. And Father, I pray that you will bring calmness to my day. Lord, as the rhythm of the day starts to move, as the rhythm of the day starts to be. Lord, as the rhythm of this day, Lord, as the arrows that fly by day, Lord, as that HR office fires that arrow. Lord, as the enemy fires the arrow. Lord, as education fires the arrow, as social media fires the arrow. Lord, it comes through text. It comes through emails. It comes through a meeting. It comes, dear God, in general life situations. Father, we will not conform to the pattern of the world. Father, we thank you for every battle that we're in. We thank you for every trial we're in. We thank you for every situation we're in because the battle belongs to the Lord. And Father, even though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we will fear no evil, for you are with us. Your rod and your staff, they

comfort us. But right now, Jesus, calm the day as it starts to move. Guard me from the pressures that I cannot see. Without further ado, don't go too far. We're gonna pedal out and we will catch you in two.
