Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, recorded live here in London, England, where the world gathers for five minutes of faith, love, hope, and strength wherever you are across this world. Let's try not to panic. There are things happening across certain parts of the world, and wherever you are right now, we're praying for peace. We're praying for the love of God, whoever you are, wherever you are. Let's not lock in to what the world is saying. Let's not lock in to those areas of war and the trouble that's happening in certain nations around the world. But let's try and focus on Jesus Christ. Come on, wherever you are. We thank you for every listener that's with us

And the title of this prayer is coming from Psalm 27, verse 1. Jesus, be my light in the midnight hour and push back every shadow that tries to settle over my heart. Father, the shadow of fear right now. Lord, we're watching the news channels. Lord, we're watching and listening the news. Lord, we're listening to social media. Father, and there is wars,
rumors of wars. And Father, we pray for these nations that are battling it out. We pray, dear God, for the innocent victims that get caught in war. But right now, Lord, please, God, I pray, Lord, for this world. I pray for rest. I pray for hope. I pray for the power of God. And right now, push back every shadow that tries to settle over our heart right now. The shadow of fear. Lord, we don't want the shadow of fear. We don't want the shadow of uncertainty. Lord, we want your presence. We want peace. We want your love. And Father, from the four corners of the world, we thank you that Psalm 27, verse 1, is for us. The Lord is the light and my salvation. Of whom shall I fear? Lord, we will not fear the terror of night. Lord, we will not worry about the arrows in the daytime. But Lord, right now, wherever we are across this world, Lord, we need peace
and we need love. And Father, we thank you right here in live in London, England, from London all the way to Brazil, Portugal, Angola, America, Iran, Father, and all the way to Israel. We're praying for peace. We're praying for mercy. We're praying for your saving grace. But right now, Lord, we need deep peace. At this midnight hour, Lord, steady our hearts right now. Lord, we're worried about what we see, what we listen to. But dear God, I pray that you will give us a steadiness right now, at this rhythm, at this time in our lives. Spirit of the living God, from the battlefields to the boardroom. Holy God, that you are. Will you strengthen each and every one of us? Lord, in
the stillness of the rhythm of this prayer, Lord, we need your mercy. We need your saving grace. Lord, get us to the cross. Father, protect us with your love wherever we are across the world. Father, we are tired and we are weary. And what we see on the news channels, what we are capturing at this moment, dear God, I pray, Jesus, be my light in the midnight hour and push back every shadow that tries to settle over my heart. Please, God. Please, Holy Spirit, push back every shadow of fear, doubt, uncertainty, and bring peace across
the world. My God is with you wherever you are at the midnight hour. Never ever give up. I will catch you soon. Don't go too far.
