every morning. We're praying out of the book of Lamentations, chapter 3, verse 22, and the title is Jesus. Let your mercy, let your mercy rise with the dawn and steady my spirit before the day. Holy Spirit, I thank you for every listener wherever they are right now. May God carry you, whatever the rhythm of your life, whatever life looks like. And we are praying straight out of that great book of Lamentations 3. Jesus. Let your mercies rise with the dawn and steady my spirit before the day begins. Holy Spirit, as the dawn starts to rise, Father, as we feel the sun on our heart. As the sun comes through the window of the bedroom, the window of life.
Holy Spirit, I pray right now, whatever the time zone is, whatever the hour is, whatever the culture, whatever the rhythm, Lord, as we watch the news channels, listen to the news and the weather report of what is happening just within the weather system of the world, Father, the unusual things that are happening through the weather, the unusual things that are happening through society and culture. Father, as that sun is about to rise, we thank you that Jesus Christ is alive
and well. And right now, Lord, because of your great love for us, out of the beautiful book of Lamentations, chapter three, because of his great love for us, we are not consumed. His mercies will never fail. They are new every morning. Father, we thank you that every morning your love is new, your mercy is new, redemption is over our lives. But Father, will you strengthen our spirit? Lord, we are feeling a little bit unsettled this morning. Lord, we're not quite as sure as we thought we would be. Lord, as the sun starts to rise, as the sun sets on our lives, whatever the hour is, whatever the trouble, whatever the rhythm, Lord, the inner battles, the outer battles, Father, the fierceness of life, the worry, the commute that lies before us. Father, as the sun rises here live in London, England, we pray that the love of God will be over our lives, that we will capture the rhythm of heaven. And Lord, as we hear the war, the rumor of war, the battleground of life. Holy Spirit, as we look through the window, as the dawn starts to rise, let your mercies go before. Let your love go before. Lord, will you put your arms around every one of us? Will you carry us? Because you tell us, because of the Lord's great love for us, we are not consumed. His mercies never
fail. They are new every morning. Right now, the sun is rising. And Lord, we thank you, dear God, whatever battle, whatever fear, whatever trial, whatever tribulation that we go from, London here, all the way to Brazil, from Brazil to Portugal, from Portugal to Angola to Peru. Lord, we are praying for the love of God, the rhythm of the Holy Spirit. Lord, we want to grow in hope. We want to see the light of dawn rise. We want to feel the mercies of God right now. But Lord, God, from the battlefield to the boardroom, to the school run, to the field of life, to the warrior of war, to the front line of life. Holy Spirit, wherever we are, Lord, settle this spirit of ours. And Lord, we want to feel the mercy of God. Holy God, that you are, Lion of Judah, let your light shine. Father, bless the listeners around the world, and we thank you that your mercies are new every morning. Spirit of the living God, carry us through this morning from the battlefield to the boardroom.
