further ado. Are you tired? Are you weary? Good evening, good morning, good afternoon. The love of God is over your life. Let's just remind us uh of this scripture. In the Gospel of John, it says perfect love, drive out all fear. Let's not lock on to the war news. Let's lock in to Jesus Christ. Grab yourself a Bible, get a lovely cup of tea, a cup of coffee, whatever it may be, just try and carve out five minutes and let's just pray together. Holy Spirit, Lord, as we stand in Psalm 73, verse 26, Jesus, my flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Psalm 73, 26. forever. Holy Spirit, I pray as we watch the world battling, we watch the world fighting over oil and land and political jargon. Holy Spirit, I pray right now, Lord, that we will find rest in the scripture. That Lord, when we watch war breaking out, missiles, aircraft, battleships, Lord, we pray for those civilians, dear God, that have been caught in the crossfire. We pray for those that have lost their life, the innocent lives that have been taken out. Holy Spirit, we pray right now, Jesus, strengthen my heart, because Lord, I can't understand it. Lord, I'm not sure. Lord, there is a worry across towns, villages, nations, tribes, and tongues. But right now, Lord, at this hour, we pray for unity, we pray for love, we pray for the mercy of God. And as we pray out of Psalm 73, verse 26, Jesus, strengthen my heart this evening. Holy Spirit, strengthen my heart this evening. Holy God, strengthen my heart this evening and hold me steady as I lay down with the weight of this
day. Holy Spirit, I pray for those that are getting ready for bed, those that are in bed that can't sleep, those that are on a commute, those are in a traffic jam of life, that are absolutely exhausted and tired because of the fear of the ifs and the buts and the possibilities and the maybes. So Lord, please be our portion today. Holy Spirit, from the battlefield to the boardroom, from the four corners of this world, here live in London, England, to France, Germany, Spain, Tenerife, we pray, dear God, for Lagos. We pray for Nigeria, we pray for every town, every village, every city, every mountaintop experience, from the battlefield to the boardroom, dear God, to the commute home. Lord, as we're cooking dinner right now, we're trying to calm the house down, we're trying to keep in the rhythm of life. Lord, I pray that we won't focus on the war news, but we will keep our eyes on Jesus, the author, the perfecter of our peace.
Holy Spirit, come right now. You are the author and the perfecter of our life. You are our God, you are our peace, you are our King. You are our Redeemer. Lord Jesus, bring emotional rest. Lord, bring evening hope. Lord, let your constant presence be with each and every one of us. Renew this strength in the skin that we walk in. Father, in the name of Jesus, from the war zone of life to the home life, to the rhythm of the commute. Wherever we are, Jesus, hold our hearts steady this evening and keep me in the arms of Jesus Christ.
Wherever you are, never ever give up. God is with you. I will catch you at the next prayer.
