Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself Reverend Ben Cooper recorded live here in London, England, where the world gathers for five minutes of faith, love, hope, and strength. Whatever the hour is, whatever the trial, whatever the situation. Thank you for joining us at the midnight
hour. If you've got a prayer request, please email us to the studio, which is info at dailyprayer.uk. And thank you to everybody on RB Christian Radio listening to just pure worship right now. And everybody that is in the back archives, going right the way back to the very beginning of time, listening to these 1500 plus prayers, quick-fired commuter prayers. But as we are resting right now, you know, at this unusual hour at 12am, live here in London, England.
Thank God for those that pray for us. Thank you, the Lord, for those that sow a financial seed. You know, you can find that link just sitting underneath the show notes. It says uh support the show, hit that link, and it goes straight to buy us a coffee.
Without further ado, come on, let's pray. The world is doing what the world is doing. There is war everywhere, there is worry everywhere, doubt everywhere. But we're gonna lock into Jesus Christ. That's what we're gonna do.
We're gonna hold on to Jesus Christ, we're gonna hold on to the eternal God, just like Jacob did. He pushed everything on the other side of the brook, he pushed everything out of his life on the other side of the brook, and he went and he found the God of Israel. And that's what we've got to do right now. We've got to find Jesus Christ. We've got to get in the Word of God and we are gonna pray.
And the title of this prayer is Jesus, cover my midnight hour with your shelter and push back every fear that tries to rise in the dark. Holy Spirit, we come to you, Lord, at this unusual hour. Father, as the sun has set on our life today, Father, we're tired with the news that's rattling around the world. Father, we want to come to the arms of Jesus. Lord, we want to rest in the arms of Christ. And right now, wherever we are from the four corners of the world, Holy Spirit, Lord, we thank you that your shadow is protecting us. We thank you, Lord, that we got safe rest. We thank you, dear God, that we got courage in the midnight hour. Holy Spirit, wherever we are, whatever the rhythm, whatever the tribe, whatever the drumbe of our life is, Father, we believe in healing.
And you tell us through the beautiful book of Psalms 91, verse 1, whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Lord, we got to find some rest. Lord, we need these worries to go, Lord, this rising shadow, Lord, these thoughts, these unexpected turns that come, dear God, down the track of life. Lord, carry our heart. Give us stability right now, Lord, at this hour. Lord, we want to go deeper in our walk with you. Father, we are looking to the cross of Calvary. Lord, we're not lifting it up as symbolically, Lord. We're lifting you up, Father. We're lifting Jesus up. So when we look to the cross, we think our Redeemer, the Lamb that was slain, Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world. But right now, at this midnight hour, Lord, cover this midnight hour, dear God, with your shelter and push back every fear that tries to rise in our
spirit. Lord, we come to the cross at this hour. Lord, from the battlefield to the boardroom, to the skirmishes of life, to the trench of life, to every scenario under the sun. Lord, wherever we live, wherever we reside, we pray, dear God, for our hearts and our minds. Father, from here live in London, England, all the way to Brazil, all the way to France, all the way to Mexico, to America, and to Russia and a Ukraine. Lord, we're praying for the love of God. At the midnight hour, Lord, we're praying that the love of God, whoever dwells in the shelter of the most high, will rest in the shadow of the Almighty, I must say, of the Lord. Wherever you are, whatever that drumbeat is, whatever the rhythm of your heart is, God is with you, and the shadow of the God that we serve is over you. Jesus Christ
loves you. Fear has gone at the greatest name in heaven and earth. And wherever you are, never ever give up. God loves you, God is with every one of us. Don't
give up. I'll catch you at the next prayer.
