London, England. It is 11 p.m. and the Spirit of God is with us on this Wednesday evening as we are in the 4th of March.
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray out of the beautiful book of Isaiah 40, verse 31. Holy Spirit, Lord, we need strength. Lord, we need strength right now, Lord, because we're worried about the food supplies around the world. We're worried about the fuel, the diesel and the petrol. Lord, we're worried about the electric and the gas. Lord, we don't like to talk about it too much, but Lord, I want to bring it to the forefront. And Lord, I want to bring it to the cross tonight. Lord, I pray and I thank you that there is electric in our house. Lord, that there is gas in our house. I thank you, Lord, that there is fuel in the vehicle that we drive. I thank you, Lord, that we're able to get to work to get home. I thank you, Lord, that you are feeding our children. Lord, that you are paying our bills, that you are making a way. So Lord, give me strength through this time of war. Give me strength through the battles of life. Father, as we watch the news channels, as we are hearing that certain vessels in certain shipping lanes are being stopped, I thank you, Lord, that we are not relying on the shipping lanes of life. We are relying on scripture.
So Lord, remind me that there might be war going on, there might be political table tennis going on. But Lord, I want to thank you that Jesus shall supply all of our needs according to thy riches in glory. So Lord, I thank you that there is food in the cupboard. I thank you, Lord, that there is rest for our heart. And Lord, strengthen us right now in these final hours of this Wednesday. Strengthen us across the world. Father, the sun has risen as the sun has set from every four corner, from every tribe, every tongue, every language, every rhythm that we be. Holy Spirit, I pray that we won't bounce according to the way of war. We won't bounce according to the way of the religious order. We won't bounce according to the way of the world. But Lord, that we will walk freely and independently through the Word of God. So Jesus, strengthen me in the final hours of this day. Holy Spirit, prepare my spirit and restore and give us rest at this hour. Father, I thank you for the battles of life. I thank you for the fires and the trials of life. Because when I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil. For you are with us, your rod and your staff.
Lord, I thank you, dear God, that you are getting food to everyone right now. I thank you, Lord, that there is water in our house. I thank you, Lord, that we flick a switch and we got electric. We turn the boiler on, there is heating. I thank you, Lord, that we turn the key in the car and it starts. I thank you, Lord, that we're on the train, we're on the bus. I thank you, Lord, that we got shoes on our feet, we got clothes on our back. I thank you for the roof over our head. And I thank you that God is with every listener right now. From the four corners of the world, Jesus Christ is with you. From the battlefield to the boardroom, from the boardroom to the field of life, to the shopping trolley, to the now bar to the barbers, to the hairdressers, to the gym. Wherever you are, God is with you. Don't ever give up and don't lock our eyes onto the news channels.
Let's take our eyes off of the news and focus on scripture because it says in Hebrews 12, very simply, keep your eyes on Jesus, the author, the perfecter of our faith. Without further ado, we are out of here. God loves you. I will catch you very soon at the next prayer. Never ever give up and let's look at Jesus Christ because He loves you, God is with you, and the Holy Spirit is over your life. Don't ever allow any other thought pattern to enter your mind.
