Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself Reverend Ben Cooper. We are live here in London, England. Come on, sister and brother. It is 12 p.m. here in London.
Wherever you are across the world, let's not lock on to the drumbeat of the world. Let's not listen to the pots and pans and the monotony of the world banging and beating away. That war beat, you know, it's on social media, it's on the news, it's on the radio, it is everywhere.
But let's lock in to the rhythm of Jesus. I hear what you're saying, but how do I get rid of this war cry, this noise of war? We gotta get in the scripture, we gotta get a paperback version of the word of God. We gotta turn our phone over, we've got to lay the iPad down and the gadgets down, and we gotta open up a paperback version of the Word of God and we read. We read, we go back to the basics, we get ourselves a paperback version of the Word of
God. Spirit of the living God, I thank you that the love of Jesus is over every listener, over every tribe, every color, every tongue, every language, every rhythm of this world. But Jesus, strengthen my heart in these middle hours and drive out fear that tries to distract my life. Father, the fear that comes, Lord, when we've got midday fatigue. Holy Spirit, we've been awake hours, we're tired, we're already in the rhythm of the day. And Lord, as that area of life it sneaks up, that tiredness, that worry, that deer, look, dear God, that doubt comes in and it sneaks up and it tries to bite our ankles, that fear that tries to bite. Holy Spirit, I pray, Lord, that the scripture says perfect love drives out all fear, and we come to you in the name of Jesus Christ. Jesus, strengthen my heart. Holy Spirit, strengthen all of our hearts.
Holy God that you are, Lord, we thank you for Isaiah 41, verse 10. As we pray out of Isaiah 41, 10, so do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. God is with you in your life. Whatever that rhythm, whatever that bounce is, whatever that walk you have, whatever the matrix is in your life, whatever the mathematics looks like, whatever the emotions look like, I gotta tell you right now that Jesus Christ is in the rhythm of your day.
Wherever you are, Holy Spirit, from the four corners of this world to Delhi, all the way back to London, from London, dear God, to Port Paolo, from Port Paolo, all the way to Brisbane, to Australia, to Canada, to America. Lord, let us feel the rhythm of heaven around the world. Lord, carry us at work, carry us at home. Lord, we're pegging the washing out on that old-fashioned washing line. Spirit of the living God, I pray that you will carry us wherever we are right now. Lord, Father, from the hoover, dear God, to the van, from the van to the car, dear God, to the barbers, to the hairdressers, dear God, all the way. Holy Spirit, we pray that you will carry us. Lord, we're tired and we're weary. And Lord, it's only 12, dear God, it's only 12 o'clock. Lord, the the lunch run, the dear God, the Spirit of the Lord, Father, carry us today wherever we are. But Jesus, strengthen my heart in the middle hours of today and drive out fear that tries to rise and break out. Lord, I don't want to live by fear. I don't want to live by history. I don't want to live
by doubt. Lord, I do not want to fear as you command through the beautiful book of Isaiah 41, verse 10. So do not fear, for I am with you wherever you are, from the battlefield to the pinnacle of life, God is with you. From the ivory tower to the field of life. Whatever your rhythm looks like, Jesus Christ is with you. Never ever give up. The Bible says, For I am your God, I will strengthen you and help you. We've prayed out of Isaiah 41, verse
10. And the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 12, verse 9, as we pedal out, my grace is sufficient for you. My power is made perfect in weakness. Holy Spirit, I thank you that we're on the four corners of the world from every battle, every trial. Strengthen us, we pray, in Jesus' name. Don't go too far. I'll catch you at the next prayer.
