Without further ado, we're jumping into Psalm 91, verse 1. And the title of this prayer is simple Jesus, cover my midnight hours with your shadow of protection and push back every fear that rises in the dark. Holy Spirit, Lord, at these small hours, Lord, at 12 o'clock. Holy Spirit, we pray as we gather across the world.
So Lord, at these very disturbing times around the world, Father, we are going to rest in the shelter of the Most High. And we come to you right now. Lord, we pray for those that are traveling aircraft that you will bring safety for those, dear God, that are on the commute, those who are at home, Lord. And at this midnight hour, live here in London, England, we pray, Father, for those that are trying to rest after the busyness of life. Holy Spirit, Jesus, cover my midnight hours with the shadow of protection and push back every fear that tries to rise in the darkness. Lord, we don't want these fears to rise. Lord, we want peace, we want love, we want your mercy, we want your saving grace. But right now, Lord, we thank you that the Spirit of the Lord is over our lives and we come to you as brothers and sisters, blessed and highly favoured, wonderfully and fearfully made. And Father, we draw on Psalm 91, verse 1. Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Father, we thank you for scripture. We thank you for the authority. And from the four corners of this world, right here, live in London,
all the way to Brazil, all the way to Angola, from Angola, all the way, dear God, to Iran and Israel. Father, we are praying, Lord God, for the love of God over Chile. And Lord, right through South America, around the world, we need peace. But Lord, at this midnight hour, we thank you that the love of God, the Spirit of God, the power of the Holy Spirit is in our lives. Jesus, will you strengthen this skin that we walk in? Father, will you give us, Lord, just this presence of comfort? But Jesus, cover my midnight hours with your shadow, the shadow of protection, Jesus, from every corner of my life. Father, from the battlefields to the boardroom, to the field of life. Father, wherever we are right now, Holy Spirit, I pray that we will find sleep and rest in the greatest name in heaven and earth. Wherever you are across this world, do not allow the worry and the fear and the war cry to determine your purpose and your hope. Jesus Christ is with you. Thank you for joining us. And the Spirit of the Lord is over your life. Don't go too far. I will catch you at the next prayer.
